Alder Lake is a quick getaway from the city, about an hour twenty south on the 7. Alder Lake is surrounded by 4 year round campgrounds and many day use facilities. There are multiple camp sites for tents and RV hook ups.

Each site has a fire grate and picnic tables. There are water spickets throughout the park making water collection easy. The bathrooms are flushing and there are coin operated showers.

Alder lake is a great spot for both swim play and boating. The lake has a blocked off no wake area for those that wish to have swim fun and the rest of the lake is for small motorized water craft.

The campsite was very clean and maintained, the hosts do a great job and you can tell they take pride in their duties. There is fire wood for sale at $5 a bundle. This is a must campground for an easy getaway.

This is a great spot to explore some pacific NW beauty. The site features an assortment of camping spots, from tent to full RV hook up. Though the site is clean, and has ample hiking and recreation choices, there were quite a few small children here with their families. We had a ball singing and exploring though the park was quite busy and loud. Not a problem at all as long as you know this Park is mostly families. lots of great places nearby and the jaunt out to Finn Cidery is a must. A great drive to nearby Kingston in search of Bald Eagles was a success as we saw two in the trees near the bay. Wonderful people all around but we were camping during World Cup and lots of Europeans on holiday made some games a bit more colorful than usual. if you want silent serenity, this is not your spot during busy season. want some fun and a great place to set as base camp? this is a good spot.

An RV resort is not my typical go to place for camping, but a friend and I were heading back from the Oregon coast and wanted a place to park my Jeep so we could sleep in the roof top tent! This place was great for it, and really had all of the amenities.

First of all the place is HUGE, not exaggerating. pretty sure you could get lost in there if you ventured too far. they also don’t really monitor you much once you check in. We paid, then they let us drive around until we found a spot to our liking. They have RV hookups and everything, but they also have primitive camping sites for tents with river access.

The bathrooms were super clean, and they also have a pool, some sort of family recreation center, basketball courts, etc.

Everyone we met was super nice, and the spot we chose had plenty of tree coverage for privacy. If youre looking for a place with plenty to do for the kids and comfy accommodations for you, this Is your spot!

I normally try to stay away from RV parks as a tent person but this little private park surprised me. They don’t really have the daily changing business but rather long term RVers. Therefore, it’s pretty quiet despite a little road noise. Clean restrooms/showers (coin operated). The restaurant is not open because of the pandemic at the moment.

Thousand Trails Chehalis We stay two nights from August 31st through September 2, 2019 in campsite H43, the price was$o.oo due to our Thousand Trails membership. Our site has electricity and water hook up. The site was level and has plenty of ripe blackberries for picking. 

The campground is at an elevation of 150 ft. Access to the campground was right off Centralia Alpha Rd, our 28 ft travel trailer easily fit with room to spare in our site. Once we entering the campground, the pavement turns to hard-packed gravel as we looped around once to find our campsite. Weather was sunny upper 70's, the nights low 60's. 

This is a very quiet campground, activities we found at the campground to keep busy was billiards, two lodges, and two pools, Bingo was being played in one of the lodges. The campground has free showers, plenty of hot water and not more than a minute walk from our campsite. 

My wife and I enjoyed the campground, we will be back the next time we want to go to Mt. Rainier or Mt. St. Helens.

I believe this campground is under new ownership. You can see they’ve been putting a lot of work into it. Paving roads, landscaping, etc. Looks great and well maintained. RV spots are gravel pads and had water and electric, some had full hook up too. Some spots are better suited for larger rigs (ours was a little tight) but we were only doing a one night stop. Nice grassy spaces and a grassy community area with horseshoe pits. Lake access down by the tent sites. Very quiet and peaceful. Helpful and friendly staff. Would definitely return and recommend.

Great Place To Stay. RV Hookups At A Decent Price. Friendly And Helpful Staff. Boat Launch, Designated Swimming Area, Picnic Sitting Area, Bathrooms, Showers (Although Closed From Covid) Monthly, Weekly And Daily Rates. All In All A Great Place For A Weekend Stay!

This is definitely a RV resort, but there are 5or 6 tent camping sites under some big trees which provide shade almost all day. Nice bathroom and showers. Laundry, dog run, tv room, plus really friendly employees!!! Waterfront is right down the street. Costco, Home Depot, Albertsons and other shopping close by.

Mike's Beach Resort has a campground located right on HWY 101. The highway is all that separates it from the canal. There are several RV hookup site all with fire pits. There aren't flushing toilets, just an it house. Over all it is a beautiful location. The camp office is just North of it further down hwy 101. The "resort" also has cabins and beach access.

They require you to cancel 7 days prior to your trip. If you do not, they take your money and offer no refund. Not even hotels do this. I had a situation where my daughter wasn't going to go to her softball tournament(which was the reason I was staying at the campground). The team had to back out 3 days prior. I only made the reservation 4 days ago, tried to cancel, was informed they wouldn't give me my$ back. Basically, since I made the reservation 4 days prior to the trip, with their horrible policy, I couldn't EVER cancel and get my$ back. Customer service doesn't matter to these people. It's all about taking your$. I would recommend finding another place to camp. This was in Late September so not even peak season. We camped at Lake Sawyer RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

The park geography is beautiful, trees and cool shade. If you are ok with spending a night or so with long term residents, then enjoy the geography. The long term residents were the predominant occupants and seemed quite, keeping to themselves predominantly. The restroom and showers in the back of the park could use some upgrades. The door to the building was worn and broken in the bottom which was big enough to potentially let a raccoon or similar in. The facility was clean but had the feel of a state run park rather than private. We would stay again if circumstances dictated, as they did this time, but wouldn’t go out of our way to do so.

Here is an update. There is a security issue at this park. We had a grill stolen. The park provides no security at all

We made reservations at the last minute. We are on a trial of the thousand trails program.. if I was paying for this program I would be pissed.8

We spent a number of minutes testing pads that were are the best poor, for power. A number of the sites did not have power and were not marked as such. Additionally there is a water issue that asks you to boil water. The pads are grass and gravel that are not level . Your neighbor's are close so it has limited privacy. We got lucky and found a site under some trees. Sewer sites limited and dump stations were available but in poor places.

Thus place could be so much more with a little work. Good cell service, able to stream with mifi.

Very close to Gig Harbor. Quiet, lots of trees, level gravel sites, and full hook ups available.

Recently purchased by Sun, who is making asthetic improvements.

Lots of full-timers, but no Pickett fences, wading pools, or excessive yard art.
