Beach exploration: Crescent Beach & RV Park offers direct access to a private half-mile beach that rarely gets crowded. "More sand dollars than I've ever seen on a beach in my life," reports Anne P. The park is "heavily used by surfers, so as a result there's a huge mix of rigs—from Sprinter vans and A-frame pop-ups all the way up to Class A."
Ferry adventures: Use Point Hudson Marina & RV Park as a base for island exploration. "You can catch a ferry over to Whidbey Island, which is great for a day of biking," suggests Thomas B. The park's waterfront location puts you within walking distance of downtown Port Townsend's shops and restaurants.

Community gardens: Campers appreciate the shared garden spaces at Elwha Dam RV Park. "They offer free produce to the campers from their garden & free movie rentals," says Jackie S. Another camper noted, "They offer a community garden, so feel free to gather at no cost fresh veggies."
Beach access: The private beach at Crescent Beach & RV Park ranks highly among visitors. "So rare to have such a clear view of the ocean right from your camp site. Truly incredible," writes Sharon G. The park provides direct beach access ideal for collecting sand dollars and enjoying water activities.
Historic downtown proximity: Staying at Point Hudson Marina & RV Park puts campers within walking distance of Port Townsend. "Port Townsend is one of our favorite locations, having come here by sailboat for decades and now with a travel trailer. Point Hudson marina and campground are right on the edge of downtown PT and have beautiful views and access for culling, kayaking, and paddle boarding," shares Clyde W.
What you should know
Site spacing varies: RV sites near Carlsborg, Washington often feature close quarters.
