Cliffside RV Park - Military

We have been living in our camper full time for the past 3 months and this is the prettiest campsite ever! Right on the ocean and the camp host plants stunning flower gardens throughout the park. Nice walking trail and free laundry! One downside was the bad Wi-Fi but other than that cannot complain!

Very nicely kept facilities with beautiful flower beds. Each site has full hookups. Open space but not a parking lot.

Great hidden camping spot, Cliffside has become an amazing spot to vacation with family and friends. With easy access to the beach and less than 30 minutes from all the amazing things whidbey island has to offer it makes Cliffside a unique and safe place to camp.

We stayed here in early April after making a last minute reservation (by phone only). Only a couple of spots were open. You need to be a active or retired military member to enter the base and stay at this campground.

We stayed at one of the RV loops with our van. Most rigs were large RVs, many looked like they were there for an extended stay (up to 30 days). There is also a tent-only area.

The setting is incredible right over a bluff overlooking the Sound.  The grounds are immaculately maintained, bathrooms are sparkling clean, there are showers as well.  Several picnic areas and firepits some covered, swings and outdoor games (giant chess, corn-hole).  A lovely paved waterfront trail on the bluff and then an amazing sandy beach. At low tide, you can walk all the way to Rocky Point and beyond outside of the base.

Air force planes fly right above so it can be noisy (but also exciting) when they are flying by. Decent WIFI throughout the campground, better in some places. Poor AT&T cell reception.

An amazing park to stay at right on the seawater on Whidbey Island. Beautiful views from every site. Very clean, large public bathrooms and showers. Onsite laundry works well. The grounds are maintained exceptionally well. Very friendly staff! My family and I had no complaints, if only all RV parks were like this one!

Located on Naval Air Station Whidbey Island this is a great site for military and retired vets. They have RV sites as well, but I always use the tent sites. Its great for just sleeping outside without fully roughing it. They have showers and bathrooms a short walk away, and all sites have beach access and fire rings. Ive camped here a couple times now and have had a great time. Must be able to get on to the base to use it. There is a small nature trail for kids and a paved trail that goes along the beach cliffs. Great place, very inexpensive.
