Cabin rentals around Ogden run from basic A-frame units in the Monte Cristo corridor to more developed structures with full kitchens in the Huntsville and Eden areas east of town. Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest land backs up against the Wasatch Range here, and several private cabin campgrounds operate along the forest edge with reservation windows opening weeks to months out depending on the property. Check Ogden's dispersed camping options if you want the free, no-structure alternative on Forest Service land.

Rustic cabins in this corridor typically require campers to bring their own bedding, cookware, and toiletries. More developed rentals include those items. Confirm the specific list before you arrive. Snow is a realistic variable above 6,500 feet from October through April, so warm layers matter even on a late-season booking.

Bridger Bay Campground — Antelope Island State Park

I know some people had a huge issue with bugs. Maybe its because we came towards the end of October. But the only issue with bugs we had were a few annoying flies. This place is absolutely stunning. Ended up staying 2 nights. One night was very windy since there isnt much to protect you from the wind. Bathrooms have showers and flush toilets. Literally no one was here after the Bison roundup weekend. And the sunsets were spectacular !

      North Fork County Park

A nice campground. About to close for the season so I was the only one here. Its currently dry. The water was shut off and whatnot. Lots of spots. Some better than others! I bet this place would be stunning when the leaves are green and lush!

      MANTUA WATERFRONT RV RESORT

      Best campground around!

This is one of the best campgrounds around. The owners are amazing and the location with large trees for shade. Deck with BBQs. Big hangout area in grass. We hold a fishing tourney here every year and we all love hanging out at the campground after!

      Brigham City-Perry South KOA

Nice KOA but construction across street

Nice KOA. Clean, friendly staff, convenient location, but construction across the street. Looks like a new neighborhood may be going in. This would drop the rating to a 3 but it is not their fault. Pool available on request. Our site seemed wider than some. For passing through it is great. Not sure I’d stay here for days unless needing to be in Brigham City. Peek view of the Great Salt Lake.

Bridger Bay Campground — Antelope Island State Park

      Bison Town

Wonderful views of Great Salt Lake. Plenty of bison. Other wildlife best seen hiking or biking on the trails, which are the ways this park is best seen. Bring mosquito netting for the “no-see-ums” in the Spring. Winnebago Travato with dogs.

Dry Hollow Campground — Echo State Park

      Very nice and clean

Water level is extremely low at the lake, so if you have any water related activities planned you probably need to look elsewhere.
