Rv Trailer

Come stay in our RV trailer all set up for your camping experience.  The trailer is fully functional with power, water and a restroom.  With a quad bunk bed set up 4 members of your family can stay in their own fun room.  The couch will convert into a double bed, and the master room will accommodate 2 people.   The site has a covered pavilion, picnic table and fire pit.   Don’t miss your chance to have your family stay in the newest addition to our camping options.   $100.00 Mon-Thurs.  $130.00 Fri, Sat, Sun, and holidays. Can sleep up to 8 people.  Bunk bed, small table, chairs, and a futon.  Power also in the yurts.  Cooking can be done on the gas grill on the yurt decks.   Fire pits are now available at each yurt.  Sorry no pets in or around yurts. Heat is turned off May 15 – Oct 15, or as temperatures dictates.  Restrooms near the yurts. No pets allowed in the yurts.

Cabins: $70 Mon-Thurs (excluding holidays) $100 Fri, Sat, Sun  ($200 security deposit required- collected at the park).  Can accommodate up to six people and have ADA accessibility.

Each cabin has bunk beds, table and chairs, lights and power, Heat/AC, small microwave and refrigerator, water in the site (in summer, not in the cabin) The restrooms are located near the cabins,  restrooms with showers(summer) and vault restrooms (winter). No pets in/around cabins.

$20.00 a night for the entire site.  Bring your family and friends out and come hang with us.   The hammock structure can accommodate up to 8 people.  It’s great for scout groups and folks who just don’t want to tent up.

Don’t have a hammock? No problem! We have hammock rentals for you. The rental fee is $10.00 per-hammock + straps for your entire stay, plus a refundable fee (depending on the condition of the hammock when returned) of $60.00  Bring your sleeping bag and your set.

East Canyon State Park

Aspen Forest is a secluded 1/2 acre campsite up Tollgate Canyon, just 20 minutes away from Park City. Features of the campsite include a 12X20 tent site, a hammock, charcoal and propane grilling station, a food prep area, a shaded picnic table, and a propane firepit area with Adirondack chairs. To ensure your comfort, hi-speed Wi-Fi, electricity and drinking water are also onsite.

The campsite shares a driveway with a small cabin, which makes the utilities in this remote mountain landscape possible. Please note that Cabin renters will not be present during your stay at the campsite, but owners and contractors may occasionally be at the cabin to perform cleaning and maintenance. Campers can expect privacy within the campsite area and will be notified of anyone else present on the property via the app.

FREE amenities! Your campsite rental includes the use of of hiking poles, outdoor games, mountain bikes and fishing gear. Explore the beautiful mountain roads, cast your line into nearby Bobcat Springs for some cozy pond fishing or pursue the majestic views with a hike on the nearby Rocky Point Reserve trail. At dawn and dusk, you can often catch a peek of some of the local deer, elk, moose or wild turkeys in the area.

For reasonable daily rates, you can also rent an ATV onsite and explore miles of unpaved roads. Do you enjoy getting out on the water? Explore Jordanelle, Rockport or Echo Reservoirs- each within short distances from Tollgate Canyon. A full sized raft, SUP and kayak with paddles and life jackets are also available for rent on a self-serve basis. We also have several roof and trunk mounted carrier systems so you can transport gear on your vehicle if you’re not already equipped. The campsite bathroom consists of a 5 gallon camp toilet (hand pump flush style) and hand-washing station in a separate, private tent on the perimeter of camp. Please be considerate of others and refrain from using the campsite property as a restroom. If you’d prefer a luxury indoor bathroom with a flushing toilet while you camp, access to the cabin may be available at reasonable rates. Spruces - Big Cottonwood

During the winter season, the Big Water Yurt is set up at the Upper Big Water Trailhead, 4.5 miles past the winter gate at the end of the canyon road.  It is accessible only by snowshoe or skis on the Millcreek Ski Trail.  Reservations may be made for December 1-April 30. 

Amenities include 2 double-bunk beds (each 4' x 7'), wood burning stove, table and benches, vault toilet outside next to yurt, creek nearby for water source.

Remember to check the forecast with the Utah Avalanche Center  before heading into the backcountry.

Jordan Pines

Utah is primarily known for two things: its world-class skiing and winding slot canyons. But the Beehive State has much more to offer the outdoor enthusiast. For a different kind of mountain experience, the Uinta Mountains aren’t much farther. They’re the only mountain range in the contiguous US that runs east-west. Still part of the Rockies, they’re Utah’s highest range, with King’s Peak topping out at 13,528 feet. Albion Basin Campground, just 15 miles from Sandy, Utah, is set among shady white pines and aspens in its beautiful namesake basin in Little Cottonwood Canyon at an elevation of 9,500 feet.

Hiking and mountain biking are very popular activities. Hikers enjoy the path to Cecret Lake, which begins at the campground, as well as the Catherine Pass/Sunset Peak Trail just down the road.  
  
Mountain bikers often ride the Albion Basin Road and the trail to Germania Pass. Other trails include the Albion Meadows Trail and Cardiff Pass/Twin Lake Pass.

The campground contains 18 "reservation" sites (16 single sites, one double and one triple site) as well as 6 single "first come-first served" sites. All come with picnic tables and campfire rings. Vault toilets are provided. Roads and parking spurs are dirt.

## Natural Features

Albion Basin is renowned for its vivid summer wildflowers. The basin hosts the Wasatch Wildflower Festival annually in late July or early August, complete with guided nature walks.  
  
Moose and deer frequent the basin and mountain goats can often be seen on the precipitous face of Devils Castle, just south of the campground. A small stream runs through the basin.

Albion Basin, part of Alta Ski Resort just a few miles further up-canyon, hosts the Wasatch Wildflower Festival annually in late July/early August, complete with guided nature walks. Numerous hiking trails can be found in Albion Basin, including the 1.5-mile round-trip hike to Cecret Lake.

## Charges & Cancellations

**Change and Cancellation Policies and Fees**

  * Overnight and Day Use Facilities: To ensure fairness, reservation arrival or departure dates may not be changed beyond the booking window until 18 days after booking the reservation.
  * Camping / Day Use: A $10.00 service fee will apply if you change or cancel your reservation (including campsites, cabins, lookouts, group facilities, etc.). The $10.00 service fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
  * You can cancel or change reservations through Recreation.gov or by calling 1-877-444-6777.



**Late Cancellations**

  * Overnight and Day Use Facilities: Late cancellations are those cancelled between 12:01 a.m. (Eastern) on the day before arrival and check out time on the day after arrival.
  * Individual Campsites: If a customer cancels a reservation the day before or on the day of arrival they will be charged a $10.00 service fee and will also forfeit the first night's use fee (not to exceed the total paid for the original reservation). Cancellations for a single night's reservation will forfeit the entire use fee but no cancellation fee will apply.
  * Cabins / Lookouts: Customers will be charged a $10.00 cancellation fee and forfeit the first night's use fee if a cabin or lookout reservation is cancelled within 14 days of the scheduled arrival date. Cancellations for a single night's use will not be assessed a service fee.
  * Group Facility: If a customer cancels a group overnight facility reservation within 14 days of the scheduled arrival date they will be charged the $10.00 service fee and forfeit the first night's use fee. Cancellations for a single night's use will not be assessed a service fee.
  * Group Day Use Area: If a customer cancels a group day use facility reservation within 14 days of the scheduled arrival date, they will forfeit the total day use fee with no service fee charge.



**No-Shows**

  * Camping / Day Use: A camping no-show customer is one who does not arrive at a campground and does not cancel the reservation by check-out time on the day after the scheduled arrival date. Reserved campsites and group overnight facilities will be held until check-out time on the day following your scheduled arrival. Group day-use facilities will be held until check-in time on your scheduled arrival date.
  * If a customer does not arrive at the campground or group facility by check-out time the day after arrival or does not cancel the reservation by the times listed under "Late Cancellations" above, the customer may be assessed a $20.00 service fee and forfeit use fees.



**Refunds**

  * Customers must request refunds no later than 14 days after the scheduled departure date. Recreation.gov will not grant refund requests after 14 days of departure.
  * Reservation Fee: For some facilities, tours or permits an additional reservation fee is charged. For some overnight and day-use facilities, an additional non-refundable reservation fee may apply. The non-refundable reservation fee for tours and tickets is $1.00. The non-refundable reservation fee for permits varies by location.
  * Refunds for Bankcard Purchases: Refunds for bank card payments will be issued as a credit to the original bank card.
  * Refunds for Check or Cash Purchases: Refunds for Recreation.gov payments made by check or money order, and cash payments at selected campgrounds will be issued a check refund. A refund will be processed within 30 days of receipt and approval. Please Note: Refund requests made during or after departure can only be processed when approved by the facility management staff based upon local policy.
  * Refunds for Emergency Closures: In the event of an emergency closure, the Recreation.gov team will attempt to notify users and offer alternate dates (as appropriate). If this is not possible, reservations will be cancelled and all fees paid will be refunded. Reservation fees for free tickets are non-refundable in the event of an emergency closure.



**Recreation.gov Billing Information**

  * Reservation transaction will appear on customer's credit card statements as "Recreation.gov 877-444-6777."



**Changes to Policies and Procedures**

  * Recreation.gov reserves the right, when necessary, to modify reservation policies. These policies were last updated July 2018.
