Within Jordanelle State Park, Hailstone - Lower Fisher Campground provides full-hookup camping for RVs up to 65 feet. The Utah State Parks-managed facility sits near the reservoir with spacious sites that vary in levelness. Highway 40 runs nearby, creating consistent road noise that campers can hear from their sites. Recent visitors found clean restrooms and were able to secure sites without advance reservations, though the park does accept bookings. Some sites offer views of the reservoir from the back. Construction activity across the highway occasionally adds daytime noise during weekdays. The campground works well as a base for exploring camping near Park City and the surrounding Wasatch Mountains region.
