This spacious RV park has two pools (one limited to adults only), two dog parks (one large enough for big dogs to run and fetch), two sets of pickle ball courts and is spacious and level and nice/ oh, my.
The staff are friendly and lead you to your RV site (and actually collected and filled and delivered our propane tanks). They have a few cabins but are mostly laid out for newer RVs. They ask the age and type when making reservations. Good Sam discounts apply. This is a very nice “the only 5 star “ RV Park in Utah.
LegendOne of our all time favorite RV parks. Located in beautiful Heber City, Utah. We felt at home as soon as we arrived and were greeted by a nice man on a golf cart who lead us to where we’d be staying. There is an adult only section if you’re looking for peace and quiet away from kids. The concrete was level and spacious, each with its own picnic table.
They have two dog parks, one of which is the nicest and largest one we’ve seen thus far. The laundry room was sparkling clean and located adjacent to the pickle ball courts and outdoor fire pits. They have an on-site RV wash available and allowed us to borrow an adaptor from them at no charge. We enjoyed an evening in their hot tub/spa. They also have a large pool area near the bathrooms that were the most well maintained bathrooms we’ve ever used on the road. To top it all off, they have a gorgeous fitness center with weights, a treadmill and elliptical available to all guests.
Overall we were extremely impressed with all amenities and the customer service provided at Mountain Valley RV Resort and would recommend it highly to anyone visiting the area.

Called in for a one night stay for a class A pulling a trailer. I was told i would need to unhitch the trailer, which I have never had to do at a campsite then followed by asking me the year of my motor home. After looking at their website, it made a bit more sense, quite disappointed by their business structure, going to Echo Island RV Resort instead.

The setup is generally the same at a lot of KOA. This well kept KOA has lots of amenities, but sites have zero privacy. Parking spots are paved. It does appear to have a few long term tenants.
LegendThe facilities are average, with separate rooms for showers and toilets. However, there are many long-term residents with not enough space for regular camping. Some of these long term residents have multiple cars and end up blocking you in. We really just wanted a good spot to fill up on water and possibly stay for a night or two. Later we found out across the road is a Denny’s/Flying J/Truck stop where we could fill up with water.
Pros: Washer and dryers, small pool, close to Provo Cons: Road noise, train noise, small spaces, long term neighbors.
Overall, I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

These camp grounds have reserved sites and walk in sites. No RV hookups, but drinking water and flushing toilets. Lots of hikes you can do, with an easy family friendly one a quarter of a mile down the road. (Donut falls) it's really beautiful and serene here. There's enough space between camp sites that your neighbors aren't a bother.

This was our first time staying in an RV park with full hookups. It was great! The staff was very friendly and accommodated our requests without any hesitation. The views from the campsite that overlook starvation reservoir are gorgeous. The trees were beautiful and provided a lot of shade.

This is a great place for a campsite. There is a really nice pavilion and really nice bathrooms with running water and showers. Close to the boat ramp and the views are incredible. Really nice paths to get you to the beach and the boat ramp.
Lots of fish in the lake and craw fish. The water is refreshing to swim, water ski, paddle board or any water sport.
Lots of tent camping spots with great views, Group sites and lots of trailer camping with hook ups and water.
Lots of bathrooms with running water and also a few pit style outhouses. This campground can get busy in the summer months. They take reservations so that is your best option.

Dirt road is washboard hell, but you are rewarded when you arrive to a clean and quiet campground stay. Plenty of trees, flowers and wildlife including hummingbirds, deer, sandhill cranes, moose, beaver, chipmunks, squirrels and fish. Water is cold, but plenty deep for fishing, boating, canoes and paddle boards. Fishing was steady. Be prepared to pay to launch your boat and empty your tanks at the dump station.
This campground has reservation and first come first served sites. There is tent and trailer camping available. Loop B has group sites. There was no water available in the campground the last few times we were here. There are no hook ups-electric, water, sewer at this campground.
There are restrooms in each loop of the campground. There is a quiet time enforced from 10 PM to 6 AM. No generators after 10 PM.
Bring cash or check as they do not take credit cards on site.
We will camp here again.

Nice facilities (bathrooms, showers, laundry) and amenities, but very crowded with lots of families. I recognize that we are probably not the target demographic for this RV resort as a couple with no kids, so it was a little bit much for us, but could see this as a great spot for families and big groups. They had a food truck (burgers, etc.) as well as a camp store, movie screenings, pool, games, etc. Wasn't exactly quiet, but wasn't riotous either, especially staying further from the epicenter.
TravelerKind of pricy for what it is. We paid almost $50 for full hook ups on the second level. A back in site really close to two other RVs on dirt/rocks. But even though it’s right off the highway it was reasonably quiet. There seem to be three levels with the bottom level by the creek, with mostly partial hookups, looking the most attractive. It was closed for the winter as of Oct 9th though. The bottom level also had nice grassy areas for kids to play in. Bring your fishing pole as they do let you fish in the creek. There was laundry available though no change machine so bring quarters. Apparently there was also a hot tub. It was a decent place though overpriced imho.

I picked this campground based on its proximity to the Crystal Lake trailhead, hoping that it would be quieter than Washington Lake since it didn't have RV hookups, and it did not disappoint! There were only a few other occupied sites at the time that I went (midweek, before Labor Day), many of the sites were along the creek in a beautiful alpine meadow. The pit toilet was clean, and since I had a water filter, I could pull straight from the creek at my campsite rather than going to the spigot at the entrance.
There is a dirt parking lot for lake access just across from the campground entrance, and the campground is a short <2 mile drive to the Crystal Lake trailhead where there are many options for day hikes. I would 100% stay here again!

This a a beautiful site with great people and friendly staff. The river is hard to get to but pleasant to listen to. The Velvet Ash was blooming so it looked like snow in July.
Showers are clean and well kept, the pool and hot tub are great. We were allowed fires. People were there with dogs in leashes. Full hook up, electricity and water. Not sure about laundry though.

The camp ground itself is not bad. You have all the amenities that you could wish for when you are on the road. Including sites with full hook up and showers plus toilets that are in good condition. The camp store has food and drinks available. Very positive were the ladies at the reception. Very helpful and very sweet.
But the location is rather disappointing. Its located at the end of an old street and right in front of a dam, enclosed by some hills. You can hear the nearby highway. Not very pretty.
It feels a little cramped, the individual spots are very close to each other, so there is not much privacy. Plus, it is very expensive. I paid 78$ for a full hook up spot.
Probably better to check out the camp site Hailstone Camp Ground right up the hill, in the Jordanelle state park. It looked so much more beautiful when I passed by there the next morning.
GuideFull hook ups. 3 levels. Right off of I80 so be prepared for the noise. Spots are long but very narrow. Less than 3’ between our slides and the neighbor’s slides. The neighbor’s sewer hook up is right at our front door. The picnic table is located on the back side of the rig. There is a pool and hot tub but the hot tub has been drained and pool could be closing due to a chlorine shortage in the area. The gym is just a treadmill and a stationary bicycle. Canyon View RV Park is a long parking lot with 15-20 water and electric hookups and dump station. The sites (back in) are on one side, car (tows) are parked on the other. Most of them have a grassy area behind the RV. A short walk behind the campground and down a treed path is a park. The fee is $25 per night, paid thru a self check in (pictured).
All in all, I thought pricing was a little steep. It’s an option for the area but wouldn’t be my first option.

Lodgepole is a fantastic site. While it was out of the Flaming Gorge area, it was close enough to get to many of the southern features of the reservoir. From what I saw each site was large enough for a RV or camper trailer and had a large level area for a tent. There was a RV dump on site for $6. We took a camp trailer, so I did not check out the restroom on site, but there is one advertised. One thing I did not like was how close the sites were together. We could hear rowdy children in the site next to us clearly while outside of our trailer. Other than that, this place was a gem.

This is typical camping from the past. Very few sites built to accommodate larger rigs. Narrow loop roads with mature trees at that time not well-trimmed. My 30' TT was perched with some effort on top of a pull-through that was a mound rather than flat. Unlevel and narrow asphalt sites. Some sites are reservable with full hook-ups. Stayed without a reservation in the FCFS loop called Mohogany. Pine Creek is next to a golf course just on the outskirts of Midway, Utah near Deer Valley Ski Area. Lots to do in Midway and surrounding parts. No fishing close to the campground but lots of fishing and boating nearby e.g. Joranelle Reservoir/State Park. It's very pretty with wildlife enjoying life. Planned to stay longer than two nights but got chased out due to a wildfire nearby sending smoke our way.

I’ve had the unique experience of living at this RV park for the last 6 months and my opinion of this place has only gotten better over time. The facilities are very new and always clean, nice big private restrooms with showers, two laundry facilities, two hot tubs and two pools, basketball and other gaming courts, BBQs and fire pits, a small gym and pool hall, and very attentive helpful staff. Huge RV park with a separate 21+ area. If you’re in the area you should definitely come support this place, they really do care about their customers!

Need to clear a better path to the river and get rid of all the trees and brush so you can enjoy the sound and view of the river!
RangerWe stayed 1 night on our way to DNM. No hookups but a few pull through sites for RVs. We didn't have reservations but found 2 pull through RV sites right away. The rest of the open sites filled up before dark. If it's summer and you're trying to get in without a reservation come as close to check in as possible. In summer of 2020 the bathrooms were closed due to Covid but they had porta potties out (they were clean-ish). We enjoyed jogging the various loops for our morning workout.
