    Nice place

Went on a day pass. Drove by the cabins and they looked cute. Perfect place to put a kayak in. Lots of shallow water in parts though. It was pretty crowded with quite a bit of music playing. Bathrooms were old and run down but worked, shower had little pressure. Better for rinsing off. I enjoyed the view and the fishing.

Very spacious and level site with great location

We have been coming to Neal’s for years, but have always stayed in their cabins. We had a change of plans for a trip (thank you Hurricane Beryl) and were lucky enough to get in at Neal’s. Had an amazing time, and changed our upcoming cabin reservation to an RV site!

    Great hidden gem

Stayed in my RV over Memorial weekend. Small rv campground, so book early. Overlooks and has access to Medina river. The owners are extremely kind and helpful, even providing corn to feed the deer.
But don't tell anyone, let's leave this our little secret.

    UP IN THE HILLS

Stayed on the 'hill side' and really enjoyed the park. Most sites you pull in paralllel to the road which is nice. Had deer through our site every day. Really good hiking but some of the trails were closed due to race events. Close to town and not too far of a drive to Fredericksburg and went to the Nat'l Pacific War Museum and that was well worth the drive. Here in October so park was about 1/8 full if even that.

    Great tent camping

The tent sites are huge and spread apart. Picnic tables and fire rings at each site. Flush toilets and showers. A highway run through the camp so there is some noise from that, mainly during the day. Town is 2 miles away.

    Highly HIGHLY recommend!!

We had a friends and family reunion of sorts here at the campgrounds for 5 days and it was the most amazing experience of our trip! We stayed in one of the cabins, a tiny home and utilized on RV hookup as well! So we got a picture of pretty much everything they offer. It was PERFECT to say the least! Water pressure was great! I have super thick hair and worry about being able to wash it thoroughly, but their bathrooms were just right! The AC's kept the cabin the perfect temperature for the hotter times of the day and at night or early mornings, you kept toasty warm. The grounds themselves were huge and you can set up a volleyball net as well as barbecue. If you wanted to lounge with other guests, you could in the common areas, or you can stick to yourselves as well, the place was so huge. The water was clear and cool and so very inviting! My son did cannon bombs of the cliff jump! Do not recommend that though:/... the women brought our inner tubes and laid out with our drinks soaking in the warm sun. Brandon and Sachi were the perfect hosts and I definitely plan on coming back year after year to experience this treasured place. Mahalo!

    Crystal clear river!

We spent a wonderful time at this campground. The cabins and facilities are clean and cozy.  The river was so relaxing and clean.  Nice little town, too! Highly recommended and hope to return again soon!

    Best family vacation

We’ve camped here 3 summers in a row because there is nothing like it . Huge campsite area with so many activities your family won’t be bored. Water park , mini golf, River access and so much more. There is a restaurant on site and a store with anything you might need on your stay. Laundry room and clean showers. I will Keep Camping here with my family . Try the brick oven pizza, you will not be disappointed. There is a cute little wagon that sells coffee and breakfast items in the mornings. There is also a snack bar for a quick bite by the pool. I recommend renting a golf cart, the site is too large to walk everywhere. Try the rec room activities, it's a fun way to cool down when the kids have had too much sun.

New owners don't have a clue how to treat people

New owners took over the park and kicked everyone out with 5 day notice on May 25th. They obviously have no compassion and don't deserve to have any customers

    Amazing!

Loved site 6 was spacious and really close to the river. Enjoyed how shallow and deep this part of river can be, definitely a great spot if Garner is full. The restroom were not the greatest but have no complains it has a toilets and showers.

    Friendly and Clean

I stayed one night and was very happy with the grounds and cleanliness. It was a cold night so the hosts kept the rec center opened all night in case anyone needed anything. The rec center had a nice kitchen and tv/cable setup and a small convenience store onsite. I would stay again without question.

    Skyline Ranch RV Park

    Large RV park

Large RV park with lots of spaces and trees. Very pretty park with lots of deer.

Two negatives are the roads are gravel that is pressed into the dirt so the roads are muddy when raining. The other issue is if you leave the park and come but at night or if you arrive at night the driveway is not lit. You can see the sign but you cannot see the road till you turn enough for you lights to hit the road.

    It's Big

We set up in section R, not easy to negotiate with the map, not well marked. I know there's a lake here somewhere, but it's not close to my section. I had to take my bike to get close enough to see the lake. Lots of scrub pine and huge deer herd wander about.

    Great option

Easy online reservation and once at campsite easy check in. In spot #2 with Winnebago Revel so it's easy parking. Fire pits and BBQ grills at various campsites. Bathroom and showers are clean and easily accessible. 30 and 50amp plug and grey/black tank disposal at each site. River across street for swimming when it has water. Store with gas and diesel onsite too.

    Kerrville-Schreiner Park

    Older and Rustic Campground

2 different entrances - you must check in at the big station and get a gate code to get to your 30 amp site, water and electric only. Grab the map, you will definitely need it. There are almost no signs to direct you. The map is badly done, but it's al you will have. Do not arrive after dark, or you will never find your site. There is no one around to ask if you do go astray, so be prepared to turn around, and watch for 1 weathered gray wooden sign about 18 inches above the grass, letters carved into the wood in matching gray weathered letters and numbers. The site is gravel pull thru with some shade. 30 amp and a faucet. Fire ring/grill unused due to burn ban. Concrete picnic table, and on site occupied armadillo nest hole under on of the oaks. Dumpster down the road about 50 yards, trailhead for teal hiking trail the other direction about 50 yards.
