Nice Place

This place is well-maintained and a fairly nice park. Family friendly and there is a lake and playground within walking distance. The staff is courteous. We did not use any of the facilities, except dump station.

There are specific sites for 30 and 50. The middle spaces for 30 amp have no shade. For 50 amp avoid sites 59-63, 0 shade. There are no sewer hookups at the site. Only dumping station.

Reservations is done by calling the park, no online.

Great Lake view

Arrived late Friday evening. Office closes at 6. Was escorted to site. Connections for water and electric aren’t in best spots but able to reach. They offer extension cords. They aren’t labeled to who’s is who’s. They are strict about parking. Can’t park truck in front of trailer have to park in designated alley. We weren’t done unloading before we were asked to move it. Sites are pretty close. We were lucky to have a corner with good view of lake. Bathrooms were closed due to covid. Overall good place to go. The lake has plenty of areas for swimming for all ages didn’t see play area.

Great location and value for the $$$

This campground is nestled in the middle of a neighborhood on Lake Dallas. There are about 15 RV sites(30/50 amp), 15 primitive sites with showers and restrooms. This campground is well patrolled and maintained. There is a couple mile walking trail at starting at the campground that is paved. The campsites are pretty well spread out and many of them have awesome views of the lake. We would stay here again!

Nice

It’s a popular and busy campground. We have a 30’ travel trailer. Our site was under some pine trees. We were there in March so we didn’t do much outside. It was cool and breezy that time of year. The staff was courteous and helpful. In better weather and time of year, you need to make reservations early.

Lake Park is not a destination, but the staff is very friendly

Look, I found this campground by total accident following signs. There is so much construction around Lewisville Lake it is difficult to get where you want to go. There are better parks around Lewisville Lake like Pilot Knoll Park.

This is mostly for RV's and camper trailers. There are a few tent sites near the beach but you are surrounded by baseball fields and city parks. It has a shower house and a laundry facility, but the campsites are stacked on top of each other.

The campground staff was very helpful.
