So.. there is not an attendant for check in. We drove around looking for site. Once at site looked at water connections and it was extremely far from our parking spot for trailer. Attempted to change to another site but unable as no attendant on duty and park volunteers were unable to. Limited shade on sites near water. If you want shade you won’t be super close to water. Our site had direct access to the water. Not a lot of activities besides lake. Mostly quiet site.
Arrived late Friday evening. Office closes at 6. Was escorted to site. Connections for water and electric aren’t in best spots but able to reach. They offer extension cords. They aren’t labeled to who’s is who’s. They are strict about parking. Can’t park truck in front of trailer have to park in designated alley. We weren’t done unloading before we were asked to move it. Sites are pretty close. We were lucky to have a corner with good view of lake. Bathrooms were closed due to covid. Overall good place to go. The lake has plenty of areas for swimming for all ages didn’t see play area.
Nice wooded lots. Views of lake were great. Not a lot of close access to lake from our camping spot. Bathrooms were clean. Rained a lot so didn’t get to explore as much as we would have liked. Did like the lighted power poles!
