A Tranquil Stay at The Farm RV Resort

We had a wonderful stay at The Farm RV Resort. The peaceful, countryside setting was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. The spacious, level sites were well-maintained, and the full hook-ups made our stay convenient and comfortable. The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was incredibly relaxing. We loved the nearby walking trails, community fire pit, and quiet evenings surrounded by nature. If you’re looking for a serene, well-run RV resort, The Farm RV Resort is an excellent choice!

A Cozy Winter Getaway at The Farm RV Resort

We had a fantastic stay at The Farm RV Resort in December. The resort's peaceful, wintery landscape provided the perfect setting for a quiet getaway. The sites were spacious and well-maintained, and the full hook-ups made our stay easy and comfortable. We enjoyed crisp walks around the property, and the community fire pit was a great way to warm up in the evening. The staff was welcoming, and we left feeling refreshed and relaxed. If you’re looking for a cozy, winter retreat, The Farm RV Resort is the place to be!

Decent amenities, but narrow RV spaces

Pool, playground, grounds are nice and nicely shaded. The kids love the pool and even the 1 foot kiddie pool. Office is also a store with lots of necessities. Only negative comment is the long term side of the park and then that the RV spaces are narrow in between the trees and other spots. Spots have full hookups, or you can select the water/electric only.

    Magical

Beautiful property with fantastic views of Lake Douglas. Cleanest RV park we have ever visited and the staff was top notch.

Sites are level with easy to reach hookups. We splurged on a premium site, but all the sites have a great view.

We highly recommend this RV resort and we look forward to returning in 2022.

The Perfect Getaway: The Farm RV Resort Review

If you’re looking for an idyllic spot to park your RV and unwind, The Farm RV Resort is an absolute gem. Nestled in a serene countryside setting, this resort offers the perfect blend of nature and comfort. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by the friendly and helpful staff who made check-in a breeze. The resort itself is beautifully maintained, with spacious, level sites that provide plenty of room for both our RV and outdoor activities. We particularly loved the well-kept grass areas and the full hook-ups, making it super convenient for extended stays. The resort has a rustic charm that makes you feel like you’re getting away from it all, yet it still provides modern amenities. One of the highlights of our stay was the peaceful atmosphere. The surrounding farm landscape, with its rolling fields and calm breeze, is perfect for those who enjoy the quiet outdoors. We spent our evenings watching sunsets, enjoying the fresh air, and even taking walks around the grounds. For those looking for activities, the resort offers a variety of fun options. There’s a cozy clubhouse with games and a small store for essentials, plus a community fire pit where guests can gather and share stories under the stars. We also enjoyed the nearby trails, perfect for hiking or biking. Whether you're a family looking for a relaxing retreat, a couple seeking a quiet getaway, or an RV enthusiast wanting to experience the countryside, The Farm RV Resort checks all the boxes. We left feeling refreshed, relaxed, and already planning our next visit!

    Escapees Raccoon Valley RV Park

True RV park right off 1-75

Raccoon Valley RV park is literally just an RV park. The park was very clean and well maintained, and would be a nice place to park for a night as part of a longer trip. The RV park is just right off 1-75, just north of Knoxville, so it would be easy to hop on and off the interstate. The property is just a large gravel parking lot, with a few trees scattered throughout. Not really my kind of camping, but nearly all the spots were full.

The park has a large laundry facility, and a dog park for people traveling/camping with pets. I did see some benches located in the perimeter of the property in shady spots for relaxing.

I assume some of the guests are long term residents, but the sites were all so neat and clean, without built on structures and such that I’ve seen at most places. This RV park will be perfect for some!

    Extremely Clean RV Resort

This is one of the most cleanest RV resorts we have been to. It has amazing Mountain View’s, Full Hookups, close to attractions, nice pool, water slides at pool and lake. Food truck, rent golf carts. It’s a great place. Only drawback was no trees. Do a little research on sites, some are very tight and back up to another RV.

    Escapees Raccoon Valley RV Park

    Simple, affordable, accessible.

This a an RV park, not a resort. It has everything you need: full hook ups, dog park, laundry. Clean, well kept and friendly. Sites are small and close, but work even for the larger rigs.

A safe and reasonably priced place to spend a night while traveling, or a couple while exploring the area.

    Volunteer Park Family Campground

Good place to stop over on a longer trip

Volunteer RV park is right off I-75, on the outskirts of Knoxville. There’s not much around this area, but I think this would be a good place to stay a night or two on a longer trip. The campground is right off the road, but it is very large, and surprisingly wooded, so you could avoid road noise with an interior site, and it could be relaxing for a night. There are several long term residents, but there were a good number of open sites.

The park has a playground with a wooden pirate ship for kids, and a really nice pool. It was crystal clear. The office has essentials, ice, and firewood. There is a laundry facility on the property too.

I can’t say this would be an ideal camping spot for me personally, but for someone looking to stop somewhere off I-75 for a night or two, this place would be a great choice.

    Corbin - Laurel Lake KOA

    Sister Shenanigans

Stayed at Corbin/ Laurel Lake KOA near Cumberland Falls State Park while at a group event. We were in the nicely shaded loop and had more then enough room to set up and visit with each other. We were in the area for the Moonbow but unfortunately it was overcast and we missed seeing it. We enjoyed hiking in the area and had an excellent time at the KOA. The campground was well maintained and I tent trailer camped. My site was big and level.

    Amazing Glamping Resort

This RV resort had everything we needed. Water, electric and sewage hookups. We had access to cable TV, although we don't have a TV in our camper. They also have extremely fast wifi which is hard to come by at campgrounds. Not to mention the AMAZING views of the lake and mountains. Our kids spent their days going back and forth between the pool with a waterslide and swimming in the lake. Their lake had a clean beach, waterslide and trampoline.

    Nice enough

We stayed 2 nights here. There were several long term tenants. We had water, electric, sewer, and cable. Since we had sewer hook up I did not use their bathrooms. They had 2 bath houses. There was a pool and store on site. It’s easy enough to get to, it’s less a mile off 75. The sites were level, the park was clean, and the owners were nice.

Ashley here with The Dyrt. I loved working with Ben to get his listing going on The Dyrt. This gorgeous land is perfect for tent or trailer camping with level ground. Ben has done an amazing job preparing this property for your stay. The bathroom/showers are hotel quality, so no worries about roughing it! Stay up past your bedtime so you can watch the fireflies! Best start to a road trip

Our first stop traveling cross country and it will be hard to beat! I know it’s called an RV resort but I didn’t think it would actually feel like a resort but it did. So beautiful and the dog exercise area was amazing. Should spend a few nights at least here.

    Taken Back at first, but....

I was a little taken back when we first arrived at this campground because of how many people lived here long-term. There were clearly people who had been here for a very long time, even having pole barns put up over there rigs. I was slightly turned off by it because it felt like we were pulling in to a trailer park to camp (nothing wrong with trailer parks at all, just didn’t want to camp at one). We were only there for one night, but my views of the place quickly changed. Everyone here was so friendly and nice, and there is really good community here. The ground are decently taken care of aside from the long-term residents. The pool seems to be clean and the playground was fun for the little ones.

This campground is easy access from I-75.

    1 of a kind

Just stayed overnight. They had a cancellation right in front of the lake so we took it. It’s a cross between a packed parking lot and a super upscale rv resort. It’s a great place for kids and families. Lots of water activities on a beautiful lake. Lots of amenities. Professionally run.

    Pretty nice place

Seems to be a lot of permanent or seasonal campers here. Spots are a little tight but concrete and pretty level. At our particular sight the sewer was toward the front of the sight but I had enough hose to get to it. Amenities are nice, there is a pool and pavilion, paved walking trails, shuffle board, basketball court, and boat docks and fishing pier. Our loop didn’t have cable but I believe the others do. The WiFi is spotty at best. Staff and long term campers seem friendly.
