Description

Cumberland Falls RV Resort is a small, private, and peaceful 26-site RV park designed for a relaxing, nature-filled getaway. Each spacious site features full hookups (30/50 amp, water, and sewer), a private fire pit, picnic table with umbrella, and two comfortable Adirondack chairs—perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring.

At the heart of the park, guests can enjoy two pavilions, a pickleball court, cornhole, tetherball, and horseshoes—great for both families and couples looking to relax or stay active. Golf cart rentals (available after May 15, 2026) make it easy to explore the property, including our scenic 2-mile private hiking trail and a 2.5-mile golf cart path leading to our beautiful 4-acre catch-and-release lake.

Located in McCreary County, Kentucky, we are less than one mile from Cumberland Falls—home to the famous moonbow—and surrounded by some of the most breathtaking outdoor experiences in the region. The area offers over 170 miles of hiking trails, 500+ natural arches, and opportunities for kayaking, rafting, horseback riding, and more.

Guests love our quiet setting, convenient access to the falls, and the balance of privacy and amenities. It’s the kind of place where you can truly unplug, slow down, and enjoy the outdoors without the crowds.

Excellent Quiet Beautiful Clean Park

We spent the day at Cumberland Falls State Park. Sharon told us about the Moonbow which just happened to occur the exact night we were there. We arrived at the park late after the amazing Moonbow and were so happy it was only a mile away. The sites were very spacious and exceptionally clean. Trevor met us at the site. It was a nice welcome and they even gave us a goody bag. Easy hook-ups from there. We enjoyed the full moon view over a peaceful fire (they have firewood available). Woke up to incredible tall trees all around us with colorful fall leaves. It was exactly what we needed. We stayed at site 11 which has a great view of the entire property. We had to continue on our journey so didn’t get to explore the lake but hope to be back to do more trails and stay here again. 10/10 recommend. PS service was a little spotty but this was a welcome break for us.

WOW!! A Hidden Gem for RV Enthusiasts!

My son and I recently had the pleasure of staying at this brand new RV park, and I can’t say enough good things about it! Just opening in July 2025, Every site comes with full hookups, making it super convenient for all your RV needs. The entire park is laid out with beautiful asphalt, which not only looks great but also provides a smooth surface for parking.

What truly sets this place apart are the owners. They were on-site and incredibly welcoming, helping us get settled into our site with ease. We even received a delightful goodie bag as a thank-you for choosing to stay there! 🥰 It was such a thoughtful touch that made our experience even more special.

We were lucky enough to be the first guests in our site, and I can confidently say it won’t be our last visit. We’re already planning to return this fall! We’re so glad we missed the state park and stumbled upon this little gem 💎. If you’re looking for a fantastic RV park with amazing hospitality, look no further!
