Worst Campsite We’ve Stayed At

We were right by a very busy road and the sites are very close together….our next door neighbors couldn’t even open their awning due to lack of room. The camp host (I THINK he was substituting) was very unfriendly and unhelpful. The lake had toxic algae bloom (NOT anyone’s fault) so if you’re…

City park with a small lake and island

Passing town of Arlington and found a couple of city parks with electrical hookup and about six sites with picnic tables! On busy truck route but very quiet after dark! Nice town to bike or walk! Grocery store, gas mini mart and Main St all close. No vehicle needed!

Tiny quiet campground

2 spot next to a baseball field in a cute little town. Peaceful simple site to recoup after a long day of driving. The 2 negatives I will say was that the women's restroom was locked while we were here so we had to use the men's and the amount of yellow jackets at the site is scary to someone that…

Passing Through

I stayed here for one night. Online reservation worked well. I had to call to change the date and they were very friendly and accommodating. I stayed in a pull-through site #5 which was mostly gravel and pretty level - about 2" on one side with Anderson levelers. Good electricity, functional sewer…

Couldn’t ask for more from a highway stop

This is a full-service campground directly alongside I90. Even though it’s adjacent to the interstate, we really didn’t hear any highway noise. The park has full hookups with both 30 and 50 amp sites. The water pressure is great and the water/sewer connections are well-placed. The sites are level…

Beautiful lake breeze

Great campground! Picked a spot overlooking the lake...secluded (nobody else in our area) really impressed by the water pressure on the water spigots! Can't imagine there's a better campground in the area

Quiet location on a hill, and excellent value for families!

I stayed here with my family over the 4th of July weekend (2021). This is basically the only time of year this campground consistently fills up. There were 2 open spots when we arrived Friday afternoon (in the main camping area, anyway; there are other electric-only sites near the tennis court that…

  • The sledding hill just to the west... great views from the top!

We'll be back!

We had a wonderful experience dry camping here. There are only a few sites with water and electric. There are no dedicated sites and they asked us to park our pop-up at the far end/bottom of the parking lot next to the grass. It was quite level and the tent campers next to us were very nice. A…

Clean well kept limited full hookup sites

Overall this park is average the sites are level and grassy limited shade sites tho, showers and bathrooms are close by and it’s quiet except the occasional train. It’s walking distance from the dirt track. Dumpsters close and trash barrels at each site which they empty often. Mostly weekenders…
