Our campsite is less than 10 minutes by car from Clemson University (www.clemson.edu/cef). Located in the woods overlooking the Clemson Experimental Forest. As you drive up the gravel driveway, you'll pass the family mobile home (our daughter & son attend Clemson Univ) and park in the field. Walk just 30 feet into the woods and you are at the campsite.   

You are 5 1/2 minutes by car to Starbucks and Waffle House. Only 8 1/2 minutes to Clemson University's Bowman Field.

Just 3 1/2 minutes away by car, the Twelve Mile Recreation Area on Lake Hartwell is a great place for picnics, boating, swimming, fishing, etc. Spend the day hiking at many nearby locations...


The Space:
Secluded campsite right on the edge of the Clemson Experimental Forest. A great home-base for the dozens of trails that run thru-out. Only two hours from Atlanta, GA and two hours from Charlotte, NC.

Guest Access:
This is an exclusive Tentrr Signature campsite. Tentrr partners with land owners to offer unique accommodations in beautiful outdoor spaces. Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature! 

Your Tentrr campsite includes a 10'x12' (120 square feet) safari-style canvas tent on a raised wooden platform. Inside the tent you'll find one queen bed or a queen-size bunk bed (see photos for the exact setup). The tent is big enough for the bed plus one or two extra sleeping bags on the floor. Aside from the canvas tent, campers can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that___s provided. You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs, and a heating source to keep you warm and toasty at night. 

Max Occupancy: This refers to the total number of campers allowed onsite with your reservation. 

Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. To use, line the bucket with a CleanWaste Sani-Bag supplied at the camp prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. CleanWaste Sani-Bags use a NASA-developed gelling/deodorizing agent that helps prevent spills and keeps everyone safe and clean.

Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.

What you should bring:
-S'mores supplies & any food you'd like to eat
-A cooler to keep your grub from spoiling 
-Bedding and pillows
-Lanterns and lighting 
-Firewood for the campfire

Interaction with Guests:
Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location.

If a Tentrr Host submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the host's property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!

Reservation Modifications/Cancellations: Please note the terms of the cancelation policy as they are outlined in your reservation confirmation on Airbnb. Your Tentrr Host is unable to change or cancel your reservation on your behalf, and they are unable to waive any cancellation fees (if applicable). Seven acres of friendly farm animals, vegetables, and fun in the Upstate of South Carolina. We have gorgeous views of Table Rock Mountain (an excellent state park for hiking!). Our farm features lots of rescued farm animals who are friends, not food, including donkeys, a horse, a sheep, goats, piggies, and of course a barn cat. We grow diversified vegetables using organic methods that we sell directly to consumers and to local restaurants and grocers. Great spot to get away from the hustle and bustle but still only 20 minutes from Travelers Rest and Greenville.



Rambling Rosa Farm

## Overview

MUST BE RESERVED A MINIMUM OF TWO DAYS IN ADVANCE OF ARRIVAL DATE. Crescent Group Campground is a 41 acre site located on a narrow peninsula with gentle slopes and a scattered tree cover of pine and mixed hardwoods. The campground is specifically designated for group camping, consisting of two separate reservable loops. The site presently offers 2 park attendant/volunteer host campsites, 10 campsites on Loop A and 22 campsites on Loop B with full water and electric hookups, 2 standard shelters with water and electric service (1 on each loop), 2 comfort stations (1 with showers), 1 dump station, 1 playground, and associated paved and gravel roads and parking areas throughout. No boat ramp or courtesy dock is available at this site.

## Recreation

Fishing is one of the most popular activities at the lake. Sought-after species include largemouth bass, bream, crappie, catfish, striped bass and hybrid bass.   
  
The lake appeals to boaters of all kinds, whether their specialty is canoeing, sailing or motor boating. Coves and areas of quiet water provide water skiers with excellent surfaces.   
  
Swimmers will find sand beaches and designated swim areas along the shoreline. 

## Facilities

The site presently offers 10 campsites on Loop A and 22 campsites on Loop B with full water and electric hookups, 2 standard shelters with water and electric service (1 on each loop), 2 comfort stations (1 with showers), 1 dump station, 1 playground, and associated paved and gravel roads and parking areas throughout. No boat ramp or courtesy dock is available at this site. 

## Natural Features

Hartwell Lake is a man-made lake bordering Georgia and South Carolina on the Savannah, Tugaloo and Seneca Rivers. The dam and lake area boasts 8 campgrounds and 11 day-use facilities that are operated by the US Army Corps of Engineers. The Hartwell Project was originally authorized for hydro-power, flood control, and navigation. Later, recreation, water quality, water supply and fish and wildlife management were added. Surrounding vegetation allows for plenty of shade, and the 962 miles of shoreline provide numerous swimming beaches, picnic areas and boat ramps.

The campground is a short drive away from Clemson, South Carolina and Clemson University, offering additional tourism opportunities, along with grocery stores, gas stations and restaurants.

\- Once your reservation has been created, there will be a $10.00 fee to cancel and a $10.00 fee to change your site or dates. \- Cancellations made the day before, or up to the day after your arrival date will also be charged the first night use fee. \- Reserved campsites will be held until check out time ( 2 p.m.) on the day following your scheduled arrival date. If you do not arrive at campground by 2 p.m. to fulfill your reservation, your reservation will be cancelled and you will be assessed a $20 service fee and forfeit the first night use fee. \- If your reservation is for one night and you have been charged the first nights use fee, there is no $10 service fee. Refunds: \- To insure fairness for all Recreation.gov customers, any reservation with departure dates outside the 6 or 12 month maximum window cannot be changed or cancelled until 18 days after the reservation is made. \- Refunds must be requested no later than 14 days after scheduled departure date. Refunds may be requested through NNRS Customer Service at 888-448-1474. Refunds for bank card payments will be issued as a credit to the original bank card. Cash and check purchases will be refunded by check and may take up to 8 weekds for approval and processing.

Crescent

We have professionally built mountain bike trails that sweep through the forest. We are just minutes from the Hagood Mill Historical Site housing ancient native American petroglyphs and a host of other Appalachia folk history. 

Campers have plenty of options 10 minutes to downtown Pickens, SC. The Ale House or the Burning Brick is great nighttime entertainment and there are plenty of local artisans who run shops on Pickens Main St. 

The Market At The Mill is also close by and is a huge factory converted into an indoor flea market with several hundred vendors under one roof providing just about anything the eye can imagine for sale.

There's 3 main acres free for camping. No hookups but there are three prong plugs on the outside of the house you're free to use. Also use of facilities inside are perfectly fine: shower, kitchen, toilet, \*laundry\* (ask first). There's a tennis court and a not functioning pool. Cows are always around, behind the fence, and my cat Meeko will likely investigate your set up with love. We're remodeling the inside which is also available for stays.
