Just off Highway 69, Oak Ridge sits on the shores of Eufaula Lake under a canopy of mature trees. The US Army Corps of Engineers maintains this compact campground with 13 sites total—eight offering electric hookups and five primitive spots. Paved roads connect the sites, with several positioned directly on the water's edge.

Road noise from the nearby highway carries through the campground, though the lake views from most sites provide a visual counterpoint. Site conditions vary, with some more level than others, and picnic tables showing wear from regular use. A vault toilet, boat ramp, and fish cleaning station serve campers, while a camp host stays on-site to address issues. For additional options, campers can explore camping near Canadian or visit nearby Arrowhead State Park Campground which offers shower facilities. Sites operate on a first-come, first-served basis year-round.

Right off the road

This is probably our 4th stop, it is right off 69, quiet accept for cars, decent lake views and a pit toilet.

We have previously stayed in the basic loop, but it was closed and we had to stay on the electric side. Some sights more level than others, all lake views, picnic tables can be rough, some of the electric spots are short!

Corps of Engineer Site right off the highway 9A so there will be a bit of road noise.  This small site is well worth the stop.  Shaded with some sites right on the water.  If small is not your cup of tea just down 9A you will find Highway 9 Landing.  You will also find showers at Highway 9 Landing.  There is a camp host at Oak Ridge if there are problems.  Sites are paved as is the road around the area.  This site will promote either relaxing or getting on the water.
