Location, location, location! Wow! Right on the ocean, so if you want to be near a wonderful beach.....this is your place. Sites are right next to one another but you expect that. Water, sewer and electric are fine. Bathrooms old but clean. Did I mention location! ✌️
Pool, hot tub ,live music and cafe,,love coming here because u can camp on the beach and on the sound side

Lots are a little tight but the location to the beach makes it worth it. Not every site has a picnic table and fire pit so you have to find those for your site before they are taken. I really enjoyed seeing the horses.
One of my favorites campsites! I have stayed twice, once in peak season, and once in off season. Hidden gem on the journey into the outer banks. Beautiful views, beach access, horses, ferry to Ocracoke, restaurant/bar, and VERY reasonably priced.

Had some great luck securing a site last minute to test out our RTT during peak season July. As a typical forest camper, this campground was a bit of a change due to how open and exposed you are to the other sites. But, that's the beach for ya - no vegetation or other foliage to separate you from…
New Bern is a really wonderful little town on the coast of NC and this KOA is close to all the action. I really enjoyed our stay and the local town. We stayed in a camping cabin that overlooked the little pond area. The bathrooms were nice and clean and cabins were nicely appointed.
Camp Hatteras RV Resort is incredibly large. You can stay beachfront or you can stay sound front. This is the largest campground we have ever stayed at. And from the sound of it, it is always jampacked.
We selected to stay sound front because we were interested in paddle boarding on the on sound.…

Just like the other campgrounds in the Cape Hatteras National Seashore, Oregon Inlet is such great campground. The bathrooms and campground are clean. And so are the showers! Recreation.gov states that this campground has “heated showers.” I checked the water temperature in the shower by B28 and…
Level spot, but too crowded. Our neighbor was inconsiderate and blasted the outdoor tv pst quiet hours. Nice playground and bounce place where many kids were present but not many parents. 15 kids bouncing at one point none had masks on. Just not the best situation with the present Covid situation.…
Very quiet, we stayed on the sound side and could hear the waves crashing at night which was very relaxing. Cross the road and there’s a shuffle board and mini golf course. Our 36 ft pull behind fit perfectly on the concrete slab and was level without having to mess with anything. Everyone was…
Wasn’t crowded and it is right on the beach! They had a dog wash which is super convenient. Our dogs enjoyed going on a run in the sand with us, on leash.
This was our third year staying at this campground which is about three hours from our home. The access to the Outer Banks was awesome as always. This time we kayaked on the nearby scuppernong River. The swampy trip did not disappoint with wildlife or fishing. The swimming area is still closed on…
