Greylock Campsite Park is a jewel in the Berkshires located at the base of Mount Greylock State Reservation in Lanesborough, MA. with 112 campsite recreational park that can accommodate tents and RV's up to 40 feet with special areas for tenters and group tenting. There are two bathhouses with toilets, sinks, and free hot showers. With 47 total acres, the campsites are deep and wide and are nestled in the woods, separated by trees and grass. There is a reason why this campground has so many old friends coming back and why the new campers are making it a tradition-it's beautiful here!

Getaway Campgrounds offers a modern, immersive outdoor experience for today’s camper. Each campsite is built for comfort, with clean and modern amenities designed to help you soak in your surroundings.

Our campsites are about 200 square feet with approximately 10’ by 10’ of space for a tent. Each campsite is surrounded by nature and offers a secluded, covered structure complete with a picnic table, hammock, fire pit, and Adirondack chairs.

You’ll also have a kitchenette fit for cooking with a propane burner (plus propane canister), and essentials including oil, salt + pepper, dishware, cutlery, and non-perishable provisions for purchase.

Plus, private bathroom suites (hot shower, toilet, and sink) are nearby.



Getaway Catskill Campground - New York

A 9-acre homestead. Providing dry camping with picnic tables and fire pits out by the pond and brook. For self-contained, (toilet onboard) rigs only. Access for guests to the valley trail behind the sites (15 min walk to downtown) as well as rough access via the brook to Harriman reservoir. Open May-October. Check-in is 1pm. Checkout is 12am. Quiet hours are from 10pm-8am.

**True peace can be found here.**

We had such a wonderful stay here and found it hard to leave to go back to the city after waking up to all the sights and sounds of the farm. Richard was a great host who was sure to check in and see if there was anything we needed. He showed us the walking paths along his property were, where we saw a bountiful of beautiful ferns and wildflowers. Our children enjoyed the large field where they tossed a ball with dad and flew their kite. Just beware of the mischievous goats who will sample your toiletries if you forget to close the bathroom door, as we found out! Thank you again for sharing your little slice of heaven with us! We look forward to staying with you again in the near future."

**A nice location.**

I really enjoyed my stay. Ric is very friendly and clearly loves to share his bucolic setting. It may not be for everyone, though. There are a lot of goats, chickens, dogs, roosters, ducks, etc. and when I arrived, they were making quite a racket. I was concerned about the noise level, but they quieted down by evening and it wasn't a problem. The Hawley trail system is just down the road and is a great place to hike. I stayed in my van, but you can choose to stay in a small, rustic old mining cabin or in a tent camp."

Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature! 

Your Tentrr campsite includes a 10'x12' (120 square feet) safari-style canvas tent on a raised wooden platform. Inside the tent you'll find one queen bed with a memory foam mattress. The tent is big enough for the bed plus one or two extra sleeping bags on the floor. Aside from the canvas tent, campers can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that___s provided. You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs, and a heating source to keep you warm and toasty at night. 

Max Occupancy: This refers to the total number of campers allowed onsite with your reservation.

Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.

If a Tentrr Host submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the host's property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!

Reservation Modifications/Cancellations: Please note the terms of the cancelation policy as they are outlined in your confirmation email. Take advantage of the multiple hammock relaxation stations throughout the property and swimming in the creek.  If you're up for a walk, the infamous Yellow Deli is just a mile down the road.  We're just a few minutes away from from Windham Mountain and various trails if you're the hiking type.

Each campsite includes a 10'x12' safari-style canvas tent on a raised platform, and you'll find one queen bed or a queen-size bunk bed inside (each site is different, see photos for the exact setup). Larger groups can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that___s provided (you___re welcome to bring your own camping gear too). You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs, and a heating source to keep you warm and toasty at night. 

Important Notes
Heating: The inside of your tent is equipped with a heat source. Most sites come with a wood-burning camp stove or a propane powered Heater Buddy. Check your site photos to see which option is available (if you see a chimney at the top, it's equipped with wood stove).

Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. Line the bucket with a CleanWaste bag supplied at the camp (or another appropriate plastic bag) prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. We got this idea from bathrooms used on NASA spaceships, and we've used the Tentrr Loo countless times ourselves- don't worry!

Our hosts have been doing a great job ensuring our campsites are clean and spotless for your arrival. We ask that you do your part as well - maintain social distancing, clean up after yourselves, and leave no trace - so that everyone in our camping communities can enjoy these cherished outdoor spaces.

Self Check-In: to limit the potential impact of community spread, we are encouraging our campers and hosts to adopt self-check in procedures whenever possible. To make self check-in easy, Tentrr provides a map to your site and driving directions in an email sent out a few days before your reservation. Please refer to this guide to get to your campsite. As a reminder, it is good practice to give your host a head's up on your estimated arrival time a few days beforehand. If you need any assistance, you can reach out to your host through the contact information provided in your confirmation email.

Other Things to Note:
Bring loads of extra blankets and warm clothing. Boots are a must. Although the driveway is kept clear, car should ideally be AWD or 4WD depending on weather conditions. Consult your campkeeper. Let your campkeeper know when you are arriving so we can light up entry for you and have your tent pre-warmed. Cleanup all common spaces when you leave. But, make yourself at home.

This is a 2 acre site that offers a wonderful terrain with 2 streams one being seasonal and the other spring fed, wooded hills and 4 seperate clearings to set up a campsite.

The Driveways are large enough to fit a 36ft Travel Trailer or even a small watercraft with Trailer. There are plenty of activities in the area from hiking, fishing, wildlife watching, fossil hunting, sight seeing and more.
