Peaceful!

This is my go-to campground when I need to relax and reflect. Beautiful lakeside sites and always a cool breeze from Lake Ontario. Staff have always been friendly and helpful.

Will be nice when it’s sorted out

Association Island is a great prospect, a failed KOA recently acquired by Sun Outdoors who are clearly struggling to get it up to scratch. We stayed three nights. The internet was down for 24 hours, there was no hot water in the showers because we were told the propane had run out, the laundry…

So much to do!

We loved camping here. There were many things to do for kids but also adults. They have pontoon and kayak rentals. Golf cart rentals. Cool bikes for kids. They had a little farmers market on the Saturday which was great. Sites can feel a little packed and we couldn’t see fireworks from the…

Nice place

Everything about this place is nice. Sites are large and staff is nice. It was great to have two pools and a bar. Things I would change. Make River sites hookup for TT’s, add cable TV, and pave the rest of the campground.

Idk

Wanted to like it but it feels too crowded and overused. Is this a man made lake? Not bad fishing and plenty of convenienves but couldnt launch our kayaks from our premium watersite. Definitely not worth the price.

Quiet and large sites

We spent 4 nights here in our 27 ft toy hauler with 2 dogs. Sites were roomy and many are seasonal. As we were there during the week, it was incredibly quiet with few people. The lake linked to a river was great for kayaking and fishing. We arrived at night and they had left everything for us…

Need a boat

I came here a couple days ago only to realize that all except one campsite needs a boat to be reached. It's first come first serve so best to find another place if you intend to drive up to your campsite. The drive up campsite had an outhouse though so that was nice

Nice place, weird bear rules, best for RV or trailers due to bear rules

No cell service or WiFi. No hookups. Odd bear rules that basically make you pack up your site when not in use, unless you have a trailer or RV. No bear proof lockers to help out like federal campgrounds. Will not be back until we get a trailer or RV. Sites are nice, secluded and not packed…

Northern Happy Place

Blacktop roads, cement pads, big rig friendly, tiki bar, and a professional, polite, and efficient staff make this a great campground.

New Favorite Campground

We managed to secure a site right on the lake and the view was gorgeous. The sites were far enough apart where you still felt some privacy. Table and fire pit were in good condition, and restrooms are a 2 minute walk down the road.

Great location, careful with your site selection.

My friend is a local and recommended this campground for the sunsets. The rain made that difficult to confirm, but we loved the place. It’s the standard weird-ass New York thing where you have a site and you can park wherever the hell you want within it (so foreign to me), but you should spend some…

Wonderful, windy and can be buggy

Overall, our trip to this campground on an island was awesome! The sunsets were spectacular and our site was literally just steps from Lake Ontario. All sites are full hook up. Wifi is available and fairly good. Trash is picked up from your site between 8-10am each day. Staff was VERY nice and…

Gorgeous Sunset Scenery

Campground was clean with newly paved roads. Unfortunately (and fortunately for future visitors) there is a lot of construction going on as the grounds are now owned by Sun RV Resorts (from KOA). That was annoying and disruptive to us but the improvements will be nice for the future.

Pool was…
