2. Staff are friendly, helpful, pots of flowers everywhere, brought treats for the dog and let me try a canoe before renting to see finmy dog would be ok.

3. Nice hike straight from the campground.

4. Lake Island beautiful, very serene and quiet especially at night.

5. Bathroom/shower facilities very clean.

6. General store down the road has fantastic doughnuts and the best bacon/egg/sausage I've ever had!

Decent camping!

Pretty standard Adirondack camping. Didn’t get to camp at the actual sites themselves because it was a bit late in the season but I found a pull off on the same road and was able to have a little fire on the beach and crash in the van just fine. Pretty close to a road but not a busy one at all.

Nothing but campsites

LSP on Piseco Lake is just ok. There is nothing but campsites and RV sites. The RV sites are tiny and close together. The majority of tent sites on the water are uneven and look like they are spillways in Teton the

Lakeside paradise site #33

Nice spot! We stayed two nights during the week. There were plenty of available sites to choose from and it was a really easy place to show up to and find a spot to settle quick. The view from the campsites along the lake was beautiful. We are passing through the Adirondacks on a weeklong exploration road trip and this place was perfect. Clean showers, flushing toilets, easy to find, and spaced out sites.

Cozy Campground on Piseco Lake

Beautiful little spot. Camped right on the lake. Kayak rentals available and super close to hiking trails. Only negative, got back from 14 miles of hiking and was trying to sleep when a family pulled in super late to set up.

Helpful staff and wonderful amenities

We had to leave poplar point do to overbooking when we decided to add an extra night. We were directed down the road to Little sand point. This is another great spot on the water, but is a bit more crowded than Poplar point. However, this site offers a good beach for swimming, helpful staff to point out great hikes in the area, and they rent out kayaks for $20 for 24 hours which in my opinion is a total steal. Overall it was a good experience, but not a place I would stay long term.

Little Sand Point- Site #13

I stayed at Little Sand Point for the 4th of July weekend. Overall, the campsites are great. The short but steep trail to Echo Cliffs within walking distance was my favorite part because it was so close and you could see Piseco Lake below. The bathrooms during my visit were really in bad condition in terms of cleanliness and that's why I could not give this campsite 5 stars.
