ScoutThis place is awesome!! Small but really quiet and the owner is amazing!! Bath house is definitely the cleanest I’ve ever seen. Looks like it’s recently done! Wow!! The cabin I stayed in was awesome….could have stayed for a week and next year I plan to do just that!! Love this place!!
TravelerThis is a very nice wooded campground. We LOVED our site (site 9). It was absolutely massive! The photo doesn't do it justice. It was set back very far from the main road and was an extremely large site! Though it was totally private on one side, we could see our neighbors in site 10 on the other (but they weren't very close to us). Also, the back of the site overlooks the main road, but it is far away and didn't bother us at all. It still felt like a very private site. It is also right across the road from a water pump and from the path to the bathrooms so it is a prime location.
The bathrooms were fine. They were clean but sometimes ran out of toilet paper.
There was no cell service in the campground.
The campground does not sell wood, but rangers will direct you to a gas station close by where you can buy some.
Something we did not appreciate/thought was odd about the campground was that the showers were not by the bathrooms and there was only one shower house very far from the campsites. The dishwashing station was also not near the campsites but not as far as the showers.
The fireplaces at each site are cleaned out in between visitors so that was nice.
This campground is about 45 minutes from Minnewaska State Park which is beautiful and has good hiking.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

GuideThis trailhead provides access to bicycle-friendly nature trails. I explored both directions on my bike, riding approximately half a mile down each side. The terrain eventually transitions into a low-lying, swampy area, likely due to recent rainfall over the past week.
About 500 feet down the right-hand trail, there is a smaller path branching off to the left. This leads to a previously used campsite, approximately 200 feet from the main trail. The site includes a stone fire ring, indicating prior use.
Given that camping is permitted anywhere in the woods as long as it’s at least 150 feet off the trail, the surrounding area offers an abundance of potential camping spots.

ScoutWe (Tim & KIm) are spending our first season here, so far the experience has been wonderful. The owner is very nice and accommodating, responsive and helpful. We chose a site right by the river and were able to adjust it to our needs for our dogs and grandchildren. The neighbors have been very helpful and friendly. We did use the playground with our grandkids and it was clean and lots to do. Excited for the actual season to begin and to be able to use all the amenities. So far its been a great experience.
