The area doesn't feel the safest but it's a cheap place to stay when in Deming, NM. The host was very friendly and checked on us after we set up. They have a pretty nice laundry facility considering the park is mostly a gravel lot. Our spot is level! The men's bathroom has a shower(didn't look), the women's is being renovated. There's also a fitness center. PROS: $20 full hookups Laundry room Nice host Residents decorations (lights)
CONS: Sketchy area Loud street noise Questionable long term residents Older folk RV park (not really kid friendly but we have 3)
Located in Las Cruces New Mexico, Hacienda RV resort is conveniently situated right off of interstate 10. Their main office is closed currently due to COVID precautions, but they are still very accommodating. The sites are small, but have everything you need with level concrete pads and full hook ups. They have a large laundry room. Make sure you use the ones closest to the door (on the right) because they are newer and don’t leave your clothes soaking wet. The dog park is large and has several entrances- it also provides waste bags and a garbage can, which is a plus. The bathrooms are private and include a toilet and shower- clean!!
This is a nice place overlooking Caballo Lake there are only four transient spaces. Most of them are long-term people I would happen to be lucky enough to get one. The cost is $26.31 if you pay cash and a dollar extra for credit card they have showers bathrooms Wi-Fi full hook up.
This is an RV resort, not to be confused either an RV park. Lots of large pull through sites, a few back in. Water, sewer, electric- 30/50 amp. WiFi, cable TV, patio with fireplace and hot tub. There used to be an exercise room, meeting rooms, copy & fax service, & laundry. The bathroom and showers are clean and nice. Plus, they have a dog wash area and one of the best dog run areas I’ve found at an RV park or resort! There is actually room for the dogs to run.
Shabby, looks like for long term residents. Tight spaces. Run down appearance. Off of main road so there is loud car as well as train noise. 55+ age restrictions. Checked it out but would not stay here. No tent sites available. Has wifi, cable, and laundry. 30 & 50 amp as well as pull through sites.
There are other RV parks in this area that are much nicer and more welcoming and at around the same price.
New Mexico safe certified, trained in Covid-19 safe practices.
This is a well run secure park with clean grounds. Bathroom and showers are clean and sanitized regularly.
All pull thru sites with full hook ups 30/50 amp, max length 65ft, no tents.
It is off of a main road and the highway and trains can also be heard. Walmart and other shopping further down the street.

This park is off of a 4 lane main road so road noise is an issue. Trains and highway noise can also be heard throughout the night. The facilities are clean and well kept. Full hook ups 30/50 amp sites, no tents. Sites are a bit close to your neighbor. Large flat gravel lot typical of RV parks.
Have yearly rates so some spaces are occupied by residents.
This is a 55+ park. Pet friendly, WiFi/cable and laundry available.
This 55+ park is in town so close to shopping. Good view of Organ Mountains. Park is clean and well maintained. Residents and staff were friendly. Being in town there is some road noise and also noise from neighboring business near the loading docks. Rates were$55/night. All sites are gravel with full hook ups with some pull thru. Even though this is 55+ children and grandchildren are welcome.

This RV park is right off of highway 10 so there is quite a bit of road noise and train noise. Park is currently operating at 25% capacity due to Covid and managers are doing a good job keeping everything sanitized and safe. We had no problem driving up and getting a spot for the night.
The La Quinta next door allows campers to use their pool and work out room so that was a nice bonus; there was an entrance in the side of the fence so you don’t have to walk on the busy road. Large gravel sites with full hook ups 30/50 amp. Facilities were very clean and well maintained. Staff was very friendly and helpful about surrounding area. Dog park fence currently under construction but we are informed of a nice dog park nearby.
In the clubhouse was a table with unwanted traveler items that you could pick up for “donation”

This campground is very well maintained. The restrooms and laundry room are obviously well used but very clean. Their is a dog park, dump station, and air compressor, and dumpsters on site. When it reopens the Quality Inn next door allows guest to use the pool and fitness center. Their is also a bar and grill inside. The park has 117 sites with about half being pull through. All of them appear to be full hookup with the rear row given over to long term guest. There is additional space for dry camping if you prefer. If you are arriving late, call ahead so they have your documents waiting outside. If you don't have a reservation, documents are available to self-register, but it is cash only. The lot is full gravel, so bring your camp shoes, and the wind will keep your awning rolled up. The temperature was near 100F on the day that I arrived but by the time the sun started to go down the breeze made for a nice evening. The only negative thing I have to say is that the light pollution makes it very hard to see any stars.
We stayed for Christmas weekend and the park is very well taken care of. There are numerous trails outlined by rocks, and there's a variety of trails to go down to the Caballo Lake reservoir. We stayed in the Palamino Loop which has a nice view of the lake with full RV hookups, but the spots did feel cramped.
We needed a place to stay for the night on Dec.31. We called many places but it was all booked due to 25% capacity limit from Covid. This place had 1 spot available and the staff was very friendly.
Nothing really special about the site. RVs are very close together. Seems like there are quite a few long term RVers around. We had few people come up to us and wanting to chat. Had one elderly gentleman knock on our door to chat.
Water pressure was a bit high but with a regulator it was fine.
Wifi was decent! Faster than average KOA. Verizon had full bars but was still a little slow for some reason.
Rv park is great. Mostly everyone is a resident. There are a few nightly spots. The residents and owner have lots of community pot lucks. Common room, laundry and showers are all available at the main building. Plus plenty of space to store your RV, Boat or whatever youbwant to store. You bring they store it! There are many different types of camping. Full hookups down dry dry camping. The owners are super cool. It's a really nice place to live.
Great views, clean restrooms and very helpful staff. Full hook ups (city water & 30amp shore power) for back in spots. Pull through had 50amp.
price $38 per night
Cool trails right off the camp sites into the rocks. The full hook up sites are off on a paved area but the dry camping sites are right in the middle of the rocks.
Only one full hook up site. Not too busy. Showers and restrooms ok but not cleaned every day. Campground was built for smaller campers but a few can handle big rigs. Our site was good for our 36’ 5th wheel.
Nice clean park, friendly staff. Sits between busy 4 lane road and highway and train noise from opposite side. Pull thru or back in sites available with full hook ups 30 amp or 50 amp. Propane on site as well for fill ups. Walmart and Auto Zone conveniently down the road.

If it were to stay here again, I'd stay in this campground as the layout is a lot nicer and more private. This campground is full and none of the others are right now. Nice walking trails and spots with some privacy and full hook ups.
This park is right off main road so can be noisy, there is also highway and train noise. Sites are close together but overall grounds are clean and well maintained.

We stayed here 1 night on our cross country trip. Not sure what to expect, we were very surprised!
The owners are upgrading the park ... new cabins, gravel well maintained, nice dog runs (however some people didn't pick up!), great layout for pulling in and pulling out. Full KOA amenities of course.
We thought it would have road noise and not well positioned, but it sits on a hill and you can see the city lights at night and we didn't hear any road noise at night either!
We had a pull through site with full hook ups. They have concreate runs for your rig to sit level (NICE) and we didn't need to unhook.
The laundry room as warm (could be AC'd better), but besides that ... VERY nice KOA! The staff was more than friendly and helpful. They had crews working new landscaping and installing lots of improvements ... if you need a place to pull over ... this is it.
After about 308 miles on the road today we were tired. The desolate stretches of highway between Tucson and Las Cruces had paid their toll and we were very happy to at last see the Las Cruces KOA Campground sign.
We had called in advance and were insured that tent camping was not yet full and we could come and make ourselves at home. Unknowing if we would make it before the office closed between 6:00 and 6:30 we were delighted to see the friendly face of Anne when we arrived.
She assisted us with not only a great campsite but also providing a map with items potentially of interest and some knowledge about our next days activity.
Our campsite was near the bathrooms and on a grassy area with plenty of shade. We were provided with a grill station and picnic table as well as water at the site and parking just in front along the slight fence line.
The campground facilities provided a half basketball court and play area as well as a gazebo for looking at the views during sunset. Those views were amazing overlooking the city and into the mountains as the night fell from the distance.
We found an outdoor grill area upon arrival which offered a little more relief from winds than our campsite itself so were able to use our camp stove there and also have a nice area to sit and eat peacefully.
There was a pool and it looked very inviting, however it was not open until mid month, a sad negative to us upon arrival.
I did take notice for those rv camping they also provided full hook ups and cable. To all campers wifi was available as well.

Overall this campground gets 5 of 5 Bunnies. The security of code locked facilities as well as comfortable facilities made for a pleasant experience in Las Cruces as a pass through city on our venture.
This Escapees RV park is right on the freeway and is a great stopover especially if you need hookups, a laundry and good cell signal. Facilities are excellent. It is not a beautiful place for camping, but it met all my needs including friendly, helpful service in the office. Wonderful dog park.
We were going to dry camp, but there was a windy, rainy storm going on. We pulled in to Elephant Butte RV Park in the dark, called the security number, and he directed us to a spot. It was easy to hook up, to pull in, easy to pull out with our 36’ 5th wheel. Really nice people!
We stopped at this KOA for one night while passing through New Mexico. We had a great view of the valley below and our site had everything we needed--full hookups. We were pretty close to others but that's not unusual for a KOA. Nothing wrong with this place but not a luxurious campground.
We're thrilled with this nice RV park! The indoor pool and awesome clubhouse exceeded our expectations! The staff is super helpful and friendly! The sites are level and we love having the pea gravel everywhere! There is an AWESOME dog park and a lovely, inexpensive laundry room!!! Def recommend staying here!
Clean RV Park close to the highway.
Nice downtown Las Cruces 55+ RV Park. Quite walkable.
