Sunny Acres RV Park

Sunny Acres RV Park operates as a 55+ community in central Las Cruces, though children and grandchildren can visit. The park sits close enough to town for convenient shopping access while maintaining views of the Organ Mountains. All sites feature gravel surfaces with full hookups including 30/50 amp service, and many accommodate large rigs with pull-through options.

The facility maintains clean grounds and buildings, with reviewers consistently noting the upkeep of laundry facilities, restrooms, and common areas. A clubhouse with kitchen serves as a social hub, while outdoor amenities include a pickle ball court, billiards, ping pong, and a dedicated dog park. Kevin K. found it "quiet with friendly staff" despite the central location.

Road noise from nearby streets and loading docks affects some sites, as the park's urban setting brings both convenience and sound. Monthly rates run around $464, with nightly options at $55. The park accepts various discount memberships including AARP, Good Sam, and Escapees. Hot water in showers can take time to arrive, so plan accordingly when using the facilities.

Guests frequently mentioned the large, well-maintained sites with full amenities and extensive recreational facilities at this 55+ park. Many appreciated the friendly staff and central Las Cruces location, though some noted road noise from the in-town setting.

Downtown and safe.

Very safe campground. Large level sites. Large and clean bathrooms/showers with plenty of hot water. Nice laundry and game room. And a dog park on site. Pricing is comparable for the city. Yes the area is a little sketchy but LC PD has a video monitor at the entrance so no shenanigans allowed. Oh. And blazing fast wifi.

One night stop-over

There were not many options in the Las Cruces area for RV parks, and the one I was interested in didn’t call me back. And while it wasn’t a mistake or horrible decision, I wouldn’t stay again nor would I recommend this one. The grounds were fine and well maintained. The laundry and shower facilities were fine & pretty clean, but it took FOREVER to get hot water in the shower. I almost gave up. The area around the RV park was “concerning”, and we didn’t feel especially safe. We asked to be close to the bathroom facilities & were told we would be, but not so much, even though there were several empty spaces much closer. I recommend finding another park, or just keep driving.

Sunny Acres

Very nice park! Close to town but still quiet and relaxing. Clean sites, laundry and restrooms. Many seasonal folks who were quite nice and the staff is awesome! Love how clean the facility is and the mature trees. I may just extend my stay.

Friendly & Very Clean 55+ Park

Sunny Acres is a friendly and clean 55+ park in central Las Cruces, New Mexico. The sites are mostly back-in and have FHU 50amp sites. All sites are gravel with patios and picnic table. The sites are large and can easily accommodate large rigs. The amenities are pickle ball, large dog run, community room, laundry, billiards, and restrooms. We chose this park because of it’s central location to everything. 👍🏻😉

Lots of room to stretch out

Nice, clean RV park. Stayed in space 9. Large spaces, some carports at sites. Quiet with friendly staff. Facilities are clean and attended to. Great pickle ball court. Very close to shopping, groceries, car wash and major intersections. Easy to find with GPS. Be sure to stop at Caleches for hot dogs and custards...an institution. Would stay again, no questions.

Very nice home base to explore area from.

On way from Texas to Vegas this was a nice stop along the way. We took extra day to visit white sands and experience some New Mexico Mexican food at Andele Restaurant.

Weather was perfect in October.

Very nice day.
