TravelerWe come to this campground every year to hike a few 4000+ mountains. Typically we come in the fall. There are several full hook up rv sites, some without sewer and several spots for RVs near the river. While the pizza shop (Celli's) is closed for renovations right now, we love their pizza and fries. The bathrooms are decent and there is hot water!

The roads into the sites are tight but they guide you. We have a 30’ trailer and 20’ truck, I wouldn’t bring a trailer longer than 35’ in unless you are really good in tight spaces. Grab a drink and your chairs and take a short walk on one of the paths to the swift river and hang out a while.
ScoutWe showed up early (10:50 am) and asked to check in prior to the 12 pm check-in time. The owner was working and she told us we could not. I walked over and saw that our site was empty, so my wife asked the owner again if we could check in early as there was nobody there and we had two 16-mo babies who were ready to get out of the car. She then kicked us off the property. This was on a festival weekend with nowhere else to stay, and I told her that. The owner did not care and we had to drive 2 ours home.
RangerLOVE this campground. Beautiful grounds with campsites nestled in a hemlock pine forest with lots of forest all around. So peaceful. Full hookup. Nearby Kennebunk and Kennebunk Port. No hiking trail on the grounds but many a short drive away. Pickleball and disc golf nearby. Only bummer was we wish we stayed longer. We would love to return for a week or more!
