Description

Located in the heart of New Hampshire's majestic White Mountain Region, Maple Haven offers its guests a beautiful setting and comfortable stay within the granite state. People say location is everything and we strongly agree, Maple Haven is nestled right in the hub of the North Country's bustling gateway. Our campground is within walking distance to the many quaint shops & dining establishments in both towns of North Woodstock and Lincoln and just mere minutes from some of the area’s most sought out natural and man-made attractions. The campground has a wide variety of wooded, grass, field, pond & brook-side tent and camper sites as well as five camping cabins. Over the last several years, we have done an extensive remodel of the campground including a new office, camp store, game-room, playground and bathroom/shower facilities. Many new campsites have been added as well, offering onsite water, sewer and electric. For the last two years a tasty attraction has been our ice-cream window, whipping up and soft serving some of the most amazing homemade New Hampshire ice-cream for our campers and passerby's alike. We hope you will pay Maple Haven a visit this season for either a camping trip or a cone and enjoy all our beautiful area has to offer!

Convient location and a good selection of sites.

We arrived late in the afternoon without a reservation and were given several sites to choose from. We picked a nice quite and pretty large site. It is very close to Lincoln and North Woodstock where the shops and restaurants are located. There are cabins, tent sites and RV sites available. Showers do require quarters and bathrooms are limited for the size of this campground especially so many tent campers that were there during our stay. It was a pleasant stay for one night.

Less than one star

This place was a disappointment. We went back in August. The stream was dried up, which I get, there was a drought. The sites were very exposed to the main road and the staff acted like it was an imposition to help anyone. We had severe weather one night and when we asked to move to one of the cabins, which we were willing to pay for, they denied us. We had a special needs child and they could care less. We ended up leaving early and getting a hotel room. Very disappointed.

Location is amazing

While this campground is small and your lucky if you can get milk in thr camp store. The location is amazing. We had a river site. It was huge! But tight getting our 30 ft camper in the site but after setting up camper and 2 10 men tents we still had so much room. Close enough to walk to town and shop eat or bar hop! Close enough to some of the north country sites like the basin ect. Also a car museum. Small campground!

Under new management

We camped here early in the season with 2 hammocks and a tent for our dog! They are upgrading the picnic tables and bathrooms. The bathroom closest to the entrance even has outdoor showers. There is a nice creek that runs behind some of the sites but would recommend staying away from the pond.
