"My friend and I took my son fishing and we landed some nice size fish big enough it scared my 7 year old son and he made me real it in. Privacy between sites: Tree Farm Campground offers spacious camping areas. "The campground is clean and quiet, with sites that are spacious and private. The wifi is pretty darn good. There's a cozy lounge room to hang out in with games, books, crayons, and puzzles," explains Lee A.
Laundry facilities: Newfound RV Park provides on-site laundry ($1.50 wash, $1.50 dry) and recreation areas. "We enjoyed our stay at Newfound RV Park thanks to their laundry facilities, rec room, and quirky owner. It was a great place to explore Newfound lake from, as well as the Mill Fudge Factory," writes Laura L.
Swimming access: Silver Lakes Park Campground features lakefront sites with beach access. "This is a very clean, quiet, gated campground, with easy beach access for the kids (and launching space for pontoon or bass boats). There is a playground, rentable kayaks and canoes, a basketball goal, frisbee golf, corn hole, horseshoes, yard darts etc," reports Kirsten J.
What you should know
Reservation requirements: Many campgrounds require advance booking, especially during summer and fall foliage season. Tree Farm Campground visitor John C. notes: "Nicely spaced sites, level and welcoming hosts. There are a few trails around the campground and it is close to Mt Ascutney."
Pet policies vary: Some campgrounds restrict pets entirely. Silver Lakes Park Campground specifically requests "pets are asked to stay home," while most other RV parks near Etna permit leashed pets with various restrictions.
WiFi availability: Many campgrounds advertise WiFi but signal strength varies. One Newfound RV Park visitor reports: "I work remotely, so having internet access is mandatory, we were able to use our AT&T hotspot with decent service. That worked well enough for my needs, so I didn't test the onsite WiFi."

Consider swimming safety: Brookside RV Camping offers river access. "This is a great spot to stop for a night with your RV and enjoy the river for a night. Easy to get to, just off of a one-way paved road," explains Miccal M.

Level sites matter: When selecting RV sites near Etna, New Hampshire, prioritize campgrounds with level parking. A Tree Farm Campground visitor noted: "Nicely spaced sites, level and welcoming hosts."
Pull-through availability: Some RV parks offer easier access sites. According to Cathy G. at Cannon Mountain RV Park: "The sites are narrow, a little bigger than a parking space, especially because of the trees in between the sites. We stayed at site four. Site seven looks to be the best because no trees on one side let's you have some room."
Seasonal utilities: Water connections are typically unavailable during winter months. Cannon Mountain RV Park maintains sites year-round, but as noted in one review: "The rates drop after Columbus Day and the water is turned off."
