Perfectly located to Franconia Notch!

Great campground with a mix of full hookup and tent sites! Many sites along the river and nice grassy sites near the front. Sites were spacious and well maintained. The campground is perfectly located for access to Franconia Notch. Highly recommend. The only negative was a mini-golf course that was falling apart but they still charged for to use.

Nice Family Campground

Excellent Campground. Good location. Pretty sites with plenty of room. Good sites for both large and small campers. Our site was an easy pull through, wooded site, close to bath house, plenty big enough for our T@B 320. Tent sites looked very nice as well. Clean bathrooms.

Beautiful, Quiet and Clean

We stayed 3 nights with our small RV. We booked a site with good privacy. There is a creek in the back, where most tents sites are. The staff is super friendly. The campsite is well maintained. Shower stall condition is great. It is bit pricy, but we’ll worth it.

Beautiful, very friendly staff.

The campsites are very nice, with firepits and bathrooms nearby. It is located near many mountain activities, like hiking, swimming, boating, and a couple of fun theme parks. There is also a little river that runs right beside some campsites which is swimable and very beautiful. A great family place.

Beautiful and immaculate campground

I have been coming to this campground for 12 years and through two owners. Yes they have a lot of rules but most of them are just plain common sense and courtesy. They have a big grass area and playground and activities for the children and families. The bathrooms are immaculate & the campsites are well ground .Fransted is central to all the white mountain attractions. The river is excellent for swimming, tubing and fishing. I have been coming with children through the years from toddlers to young adults. As a female camping alone with children I have always felt very safe and secure there.
