Closed For the Season

This campground is closed for the season from October 22, 2023 through May 9, 2024.

Surrounded on three sides by National Forest and nestled between the banks of Lost River and Walker Brook, our well-maintained and wooded sites offer the utmost in tranquility while remaining so close to many of the region’s most popular attractions. Located at the site of a turn-of-the-century lumber mill, our authentic water wheel continues to churn out history as it beckons vacationers from near and afar. Campers are welcome on a day-to-day basis, when space is available. Reservations are accepted for stays of 1 night or longer between May 1st and June 1st and after Labor Day. This does not include holidays or special events weekends. From June 2nd through Labor Day, it is a 3-night minimum; with a 3-night deposit required. Please navigate our site to learn more about all that we have to offer for your family’s next New Hampshire camping vacation. We hope that you can stay with us sometime this season!

Fantastic site, friendly staff

We stayed here over the weekend and it was nice. We stayed on the mountain which had a great view, the ground was level and the hookups look new. After speaking with the new owners they informed us the had to update all the electrical, new septic, and level the sites.

This is a great family run place. On our walk our daughter found a lost “moose” who got away from the camp store. Once returned she was able to pick a prize. They also had a tinker bell walk and other activities.

We liked the mountain side so much we booked another stay.

Friendly staff, great stays!

We’ve stayed here many times over many years. Some stays have been in a tent, some in a one-room cabin. No matter which we choose, it’s been clean and comfortable! The bathrooms are always clean, the staff in the office and store has been friendly.

The last few years, they’ve added a light display near the entrance at night, which make that last trip to the bathroom before bedtime fun!

We visit in September for the New Hampshire Highland Games and this year the campground organized a bonfire and Celtic music concert with a band that has stayed there many times before!

We’ll definitely be back next year!

Thank you so much for this lovely review! We are working hard each season to make improvements and to make our guests feel like family! We hope to see you again in 2023!

This is a little Mom and pop shotty run business across the street from a pond and near a creek. A staff of mostly under 16 yr oldchildren, and a useless, argumentive individual wearing a security guard uniform, the children refer to as the boss. It’s small with terrible access, unimproved roads and Non-existent staff

After I left … because I didn’t stay, I had to come back 3 times to get refunded, for my space payment. Which finally happened

Then they committed CREDIT CARD FRAUD by continuing to use my card and continuing to charge it after I’d left the state.

I had to file a claim and let visa go after them

SiteDidn’t stay was not a sore for my RV, description was inaccurate
