West Yellowstone Dispersed

One of the spots if you drive ling enough requires a lifted vehicle and allows for two. Stars are amazing. Park rangers do check the area. Stayed 3 days.

Amazing location just ~5 mins from the West entrance but tucked back into beautiful land. There are no views but a great meadow space. Continue down the road and there were plenty of spots! We arrived at 5PM on a holiday weekend and passed maybe 3 turnouts (multiple cars could share a space) before we found a spot. Most have pre-built fire pits of stone. There is construction and firing nearby but it stopped by 7pm.

Large open meadow at 7270 ft. elevation. Very open with several good level areas for RVs or tents. Wide open skies and a fire ring. Great spot if it’s available.

There is an established firing at this location as well as a small field that is open and the camp is surrounded by trees. Next to the firing is a fairly level ground for tent, camping or vehicle camping.
