Description
A flat clearing in the Madison Range corridor sits at roughly 7,000 feet near the Idaho border, accessed via a forested opening off an unmaintained spur in the Gallatin National Forest. The access track is narrow, bumpy, and low-clearance — high-clearance is strongly advisable, and the uneven entry can catch low-slung vehicles. Room for one or two small vehicles, with a secondary pullout just down the road; black bear activity has been noted in the area.
