Dispersed Forest Rd 57

A hill-top site with open sightlines toward the valley and surrounding mountains, this dispersed spot sits just off the same turnoff as Targhee Creek and appears to have a couple of additional sites further down the road. Cell signal is strong. A tower sits only a couple hundred yards away. The access road has some notable ruts, though most can be avoided without four-wheel drive; higher clearance helps. RVs up to 30 feet can drive in, and campfires are permitted. Anglers, hikers, and equestrian riders looking for a low-infrastructure base in the Targhee area will find this site worth the short detour.
