Remote

Extremely remote. 25 minute very rough drive off the main road. 4wd recommend. Food storage required but not supplied. There is a make shift firepit. WOULD NOT recommend pulling any sort of trailer back here.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where is Cream Creek Campground located and how do I get there?

East Fork on Cream Creek is an extremely remote campground that requires careful navigation to reach. It's located about 25 minutes off the main road via a very rough access route. Four-wheel drive vehicles are strongly recommended for accessing this campground due to the challenging terrain. The rugged drive makes this location suitable for those seeking true wilderness camping experiences away from crowds, but plan your trip carefully and ensure your vehicle is appropriate for backcountry travel.

Is fishing allowed at Cream Creek and what species can be caught?

While fishing is likely permitted at Cream Creek, specific regulations and fish species information is limited. As with many remote creek locations, you might find typical mountain creek species like trout, depending on water conditions and season. Before fishing, check with the local Forest Service or state wildlife agency for current fishing regulations, license requirements, and seasonal restrictions. Pack appropriate fishing gear for small creek fishing and practice catch and release when possible to preserve the fish population in this remote area.

What amenities are available at Cream Creek Campground?

East Fork on Cream Creek offers minimal amenities, providing a true primitive camping experience. The site features makeshift fire pits for basic cooking and warmth. Food storage is required, but storage containers are not provided, so campers must bring their own bear-proof containers or other appropriate food storage solutions. There are no developed facilities such as toilets, potable water, or trash service, so campers should come fully prepared with all necessary supplies.
