There are not a lot of campsites, which is nice. Makes it easy to get around without traffic. Very clean place. Hosts spend a lot of time cleaning campsites between each visitor. We had a ton of fun walking around the old mill and visiting with the historian working the visitor center. There are…

Campground is great overall, with a walkable trail just past the showers, clean restrooms and easy to access sites. There are only 3 basic tent sites, making it hard to nab. #4 had a decent amount of privacy, however most other electric sites do not. As an electric site, there was not a lot of…

Stayed at this Koa for 1st time. Was escorted to my campsite. Friendly, and very helpful with getting wood, and turning on tv. Cute and quiet place, place felt safe at night.

We only stay overnight and arrived late. We thought we had a site on the river but the site map is a little deceiving as the campground is a good, long hike to the river. Sites are very private, facilities are clean and it is super quiet.
We stayed in site 22 last night on our way to South Dakota. The check in experience was easy, the site was clean and place was nice. We arrived late and hungry and were able to go across the highway to KC BBQ ribs and it was delicious! They also deliver to the campground! This campground was being…
This is a nice place for an overnight stop. WiFi is good can stream! Good antenna reception owner is nice. Lots of full timers. Site 8 is nice would not want to spend a week though.
After going around for almost 1.5 hrs from Smithville due to all the road closures, we finally got to the lake but all the campsites were out of commission to include the visitor's center and the roads were closed. We had to turn back unfortunately.
I really liked the stay here. The only thing I wish is added on is some lights because my lights weren't illuminating as well as I thought it would and we were cooking in the dark.
Due to countless road closures and constructions, we couldn't even get to the campground and the other campgrounds were all closed for business. Very disappointed...
Camped at all loops, great sites!
This was the second campground I visited with my new camper. It was easy to get to, beautiful overlooking the lake, and was clean. The hiking trails were overgrown and no longer accessible.
Stayed here for three nights. All spots have plenty of shade when we walked around. Shower house and bathrooms were clean and nice. Lots of things to do such as boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing and swimming. Fire pits were even nice with an attached grill grate.

The original plan was to be in Blue Springs for an outdoor off-road RC event, camping in our pup with a generator at the track. Cue pouring down rain for a week and the event is postponed, with notification out midday on Thursday. I had been eyeing this campground as a possibility for the area, and…
If you’re wanting to camp where you are close to city amenities, this is the spot for you. My husband, our dog and I camped in one of the tent spots, but there were mostly RV’s around us. The bathrooms and laundry area were relatively clean and the camp hosts were very friendly and helpful. You…
We stayed for two days in spot #92. Many of the spots have a good amount of room, but there are some that looked tricky to level. 92 was fine for leveling. The only downside is that the spots, while larger, are fairly open (in the area around 92). I prefer a spot that has a tucked away fire pit…
