A couple of the basic sites are great with 2 having paths to the river. Great access to outfitters for floats on the river. Visit the cave, hike or just sit in the river.
I spent the weekend here mid September. It was a nice place. Quiet and secluded. On the creek side, every campsite has trails leading to the creek. There is a vault restroom if needed, each site has a paved parking spot big enough for my truck and 25ft camper. I would say it could fit up to…
My fiancé and I stayed here over the weekend and had such a great experience!! Our camp site was right on the river with a beautiful view of the spring. The staff is extremely welcoming and makes you feel right at home. We did a 5 mile float which was the perfect length and very scenic. Highly…
Close to Route 66, easy turn off …5-6 minutes up the road.
Great service, quiet. By a lovey pond and down a ramp to the river for canoeing or tubing. Nice shower house. Good stay!
we came across this place by mistake, we just passed our turn off and came acrossed it.
anyway, our fav was the group camp area. just gorg and there were paths that went to the creek with beautiful clear water.
We stayed here one night, just passing through. Convenient to I40, nice and clean new toilets and showers. We had site #23 - clean, with power, water, picnic table and fire pit. Everything we needed for one night.
Some things to know that didn’t negatively impact our trip too much: This…
We called ahead and arrived 45 minutes after their closing time. The gentleman at the office cheerfully guided us to our campsite. It is blissfully quiet. Nothing but icadas, crickets and quiet laughter from the camp next to us.
Stayed here two nights mid Labor Day weekend, so it was quite busy, crowded and noisy. The Caverns themselves are a very cool experience but the campground itself isn’t ideal. It’s first come first serve, no designated spots, so some people do end up close to each other.
Loggers Lake, in the Mark Twain National Forest, is about 7 miles west of Bunker, Mo. Spring fed lake, no electric or water campsites. There is a maintained M/F restroom on the site, and a water spigot close to the restroom. All sites have a fire ring and a picnic table. GORGEOUS!
This is a no thrills campground. We stayed two nights with no issues. The water pressure is low, about 40 psi. No office but they do answer the phone. Nice fir a one night stop over.

Our whole (cousins and everyone) met her for a week long vacation and we had a blast. The cabins were clean and the Murphy beds allowed for so much space when we weren't sleeping. We went rafting down the river and the kids had so much fun playing in the woods and swimming. It was a great trip. We…
This is an olen camping area as it’s in a conversation area. There are no sites you just pick your spot. We had a great time exploring the outdoors- saw no other people and only heard nature and airplanes

I only stayed at the campground for one night, but it was lovely. I had a tent/car setup. Nice electric and water access, and a picnic table with fire pit. Bathrooms were clean. Just be alert for bears and other interesting animals.
Our space was away from the big loop which was cram packed but pretty quiet. Trails were great but cave was closed while we were there.
