Lamplight Lane RV Resort at Glen Oaks

Clean Campground & Very Nice Owners!

The campground was a bit small, but very nice and clean. We fit our 42’ fifth wheel there though, so most would be fine! The owners & camp hosts were absolutely great! The campground could use some work, but the owners told us they just bought it and are gradually fixing it up... The location is perfect, just minutes away from Fort Leonard Wood or St. Robert, MO, off exit 153 on I44! Also only a little over an hour from Springfield, MO... Would definitely recommend and stay again if ever back in the area!

Lake of the Ozarks State Park Campground

Pretty camping area, lake was filthy and smelly

This was a pretty campsite with lots of trees and simple deer trails throughout. Sites are well spread out. The lake itself was filthy and smelly. Lots of trash and rotting fish on the shorelines. The campground website said they had WiFi throughout the campsite, however it was only available at the front office. No cell service. We had planned to stay for a week to school and work remotely, but had to cut our time here short because of no connectivity. If we hadn’t had the need for WiFi, this would have been a fine campground to stay at, as it is centrally located to many sightseeing locations.

Sties were level, kid and pet friendly, quiet campground, 30/50 amp electricity, no water hookups, firewood avail for fire pits, also had nice picnic tables. Inexpensive.

    Ozark Farms Family Campground

    Great, super clean

Ozark Farms Family Campground was great!!! Easy to get into, flat gravel pad, with picnic table, fire pit and full hookups. We had the larger 50 amp site #3. We did not use the shower house but it looked nice and clean. The bounce house was a huge hit for my 7 year old. I was surprised to learn the owner also has 2 beautiful air BnB's that our friends will use next time we come. Definately one of our favorite trips!!!!

    Haven Hollow RV Park

    Wonderful place to stay!

This place is much more like private property (with the bonus of full hookups), than an “RV park”. Everything about this place is A+. Roomy, level, and clean lots. Organized & friendly owners. Great lot amenities (fire pits, picnic tables with umbrellas, well maintained hookups). Beautiful views in very direction (open fields, tree lines, greenery, pond, clear views of sky). Very well maintained & marked grass walking trails throughout the property. Easy to find. Not too far interstate. Easy to back in site. This place was perfect for us & our dogs & our large 36’ fifth wheel while we explored and traveled Route 66.

Doolittle Acres RV Park and Campground

    Nice area

Good area only a mile off the highway so it made a great night stopping point. Had great access for our starlink. They have a little dog park, kids park, and it was all clean and well maintained. Easy access and some nice pull through spots. Water, sewer, and electric hook ups. Fire pit and picnic table at site. Since it’s close the highway it was a little loud with traffic. 57$ a night for premium spots, 42$ a night for non premium

    Ozark Farms Family Campground

    Friendly folks and well-maintained

Stayed here for a weekend during the hottest part of the summer. Most sites have decent shade.

Sites are back-in with a coarse gravel pad. Current bathhouse is adequate, but a new one is being built. New one looks to be about four times the size of the old one.

There is a raised fire-ring and a picnic table at each site. There is firewood available for purchase.

Grounds sit next to a state numbered highway, so access is easy. Don't expect a remote setting. The highway traffic can be distracting if you're used to camping in the woods.

Candy Cane RV Park & Campground

    Quiet, and nice little campground

I've camped here twice over long holiday weekends, and both times the park offered a peaceful, quiet setting to unwind for a few days. The are roughly 20 sites are spacious, level, and offer up water and electricity. Most sites are back in, with a handful of pull-throughs available. A dump station is available on the outer entry/exit road. The owners is a sweet man named Bill, who is living his dream of owning and operating a campground. Can't say enough good things about this quaint little campground.
