Beautiful place

Very nice Forest Service campground.  Nicely wooded and private.  We will try to visit again and get a lakeside site.

Great trout lake

These sites are decently spaced not that many I think there's like 22 there is water out houses no power no sewer ATV trails $15 a night

Clint Converse State Forest Campground

This campground is very clean and neat campsites for a part nice water areas two levels one above on the knob and the other one down below some sites down right by the lake great fishing deep Clearwater

Camp right on the lake

This is your typical Forest Service dry campground.  It is reservable in the summer but when we visited in the fall, it was first come, first serve.  And it was empty.  We got a site right at the swimming beach.  The beach however is quite small and suitable for children.  There isn't any hiking…

Remote and Absolutely Gorgeous

This state park is in my top favs. It’s quiet and remote and there’s a lot to explore. We stayed at a remote watercraft site, accessible only by water so that was thrilling!

Love this campground

We’ve camped here at least 3 times, the last in the north group site in July 2017. Biggest drawback is having to buy firewood, not allowed to cut any in the park. Otherwise, it’s clean, lots of nice amenities like fish cleaning building, showers and nice boat ramp. Great Lake to boat on and Zorbas…

Backpack campsite 1

Was hear earlier in summer—not in October as review date states.

Easy 1.5-2 mile hike in. Bring bug spray as mosquitos can be bad

There is a bear locker, pit toilet, and a shelter on site. This site is very private.

There is no real way to get down to the pond at the bottom of the camp…
