El Rancho Manana Campgrounds & Riding Stable

When I made the reservation, they told me where we'd be (general area) because they don't have specific sites, like a normal campground. So when we get there and I check in, we are put in a completely different area!! This area, was just a big ole square chunk of field. Then we were basically just thrown in there, with absolutely no rhyme or reason!! Other people started showing up, and they were just thrown in too. Some were so close to us, it was unreal. We also didn't know that our site was going to be part of a parking lot for other camp sites!! At one point, there was 6 other vehicles parked IN OUR CAMPSITE!! We were told by the neighbors that one of the seasonals across the street, started yelling at us and our neighbor, because we were in his parking spot!!! When we got there Friday, I ordered 2 bundles of wood at 3pm, NEVER GOT THEM!! If asked several times when it would be there, they said soon every time. Then towards the night, they then started asking if we wanted any wood!! WE WILL NEVER RETURN, AND NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!!! PICTURES ARE OF THE PARKING LOT CAMPSITE WE HAD!!!!

Had a great time camping here. There is horse riding, a beach and when we went there was live music. Also there are playgrounds for the kids.

This is a small campground in the middle of Minnesota that plays host to the Minnesota Bluegrass & Old-Time Music Association' two annual festivals. There's a separate campground for traditional campers but there's various designated camping spots for the festivals.

These festivals are one of the most laid back, fun music festivals I've been to. You get to watch from the comfort of your own lawn chair while sitting under the trees. Can't beat it.
