I've stayed in Hope many times. The campground is a bit out of town but is convenient for hiking to Gull Rock. Water stations are located in a couple places throughout the campground. Bathrooms have always been clean. On the weekends there is usually a band of some sort playing at the Seaview cafe. It can get busy but the people are the friendliest.
Had a great time at this campsite. There is a bike trail that goes around half the lake. Saw some deer, ducks, eagles and lots of loons on the lake. The restrooms were spotless. There is a shack that rents out kayaks, canoes, bikes and fishing gear. We took out a canoe and caught a few panfish.
Loved the smells of camping near the ponderosa pines. Clean facilities, not very crowded. Felt like we had the place to ourselves! Good hiking trails near the campsites!
Camped on the spit over the 4th of July. It was really packed with people, but a really great time! Very few amenities provided with the campground. It's one of my favorite places to camp, because I just love the view across Kachemak bay. The bathrooms are across the road and in my experiences are only occasionally maintained. There are tons of little gift shops on the spit and there is some great ice cream just up from the campground.
Nice wooded camping spots. The ponderosa pines are beautiful . It was a busy campground when we were here, definitely not a campground for those that like quiet. Convenient location for exploring Mount Rushmore. Everything was very well maintained.
It was a beautiful place to camp. Misquotes were very thick and hungry. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. A short walk to an amazing view of Denali. The bus ride out is a great place to see wildlife. The inside of the visitor center has great information on denali and different routes the climbers take to summit. I always enjoy my camping trips here!
Had a great time camping here. There is horse riding, a beach and when we went there was live music. Also there are playgrounds for the kids.
Great access to fishing in Resurrecton bay! Campsites are right on the water and the views are amazing. That being said it does get filled up early on weekends. Since it's right in Seward, you'll have everything you could possibly need within walking distance.
Just outside of Sioux Falls. Stayed here for a night on the way to the black hills. It was a nice campground right on the Sioux River. The restrooms were well maintained. Did a quick day trip to Falls park.
Beautifully located on the Mississippi River. Clean restrooms and showers. Friendly people and big fires. Nice hiking trail follows the river.
Windy road to a fairly secluded campground. There is a cute stream that runs right next to the campground. The bathrooms were ok and it was nice to have a shower. We didn't have fishing poles with us, but saw others that were having some luck.
Absolutely breathtaking views of the badlands right outside the tent. The camping is primitive as there is no water at this location. We had a fire ring for our campfire. Didn't see any bison on our time here but other campers we spoke with saw them right near their campsite!!
Camped here on 4th of July weekend. Crowds were busy as to be expected. Bathrooms are across the road and the fishing lagoon is right next door. The views are amazing on a nice day.
Very quiet location with nearby access to incredible hiking. The higher altitude kept the temperatures in the low 60's and perfect for sleeping. Not very many campers so it was a peaceful evening.
Great campground with easy access to some of the best lake trout fishing in the world. Well maintained bathrooms and camping areas. Most sites have a picnic table and fire ring. The only drawback to this campground is the rough ride on the road.
