Quaint

We had a wonderful experience! Our site was backed up to a horse pasture (in the evening, the horses came over for a quick visit!) Easy access to the Shipshewana Flea Market and E&S Sales (greatest bulk food shopping EVER!) Campground was impeccably clean and quiet. Mostly adult campers…

Easy Come Easy Go to the Flea Market and Town

We enjoyed our stay at the Shipshewana Trading Place RV Park. When we arrived the camper that had the site prior to us had not vacated yet and it was 2:00 pm in the afternoon. It took them about an hour, and we were able to enjoy our site. That might be a short coming of this park is that there is…

Beautiful lakeside campground

We were lucky enough to get into their overflow area. The lake front sites aren't exactly on the lake but close. This allows access to Lake Superior without having to go through campers' sites. Great spot for rock hounds!

First Trip of the season

We enjoyed the stay at this campground. They have all of the KOA amenities pool, lazy river, jump pillow, playground and dog park. Entire campground was clean and well maintained. This campground also sits on the shores of Hogback Lake which is an all sports lake. Many things to do in the area Wild…

Unique

This is a concert/event center that has a campground on site. What a fun way to see concerts or have a company picnic or wedding. Water and electric on level ground is 36.00 er night. A small beach at the lake is a great place to cool off.

Hidden gem

This place is a nice cozy campground with a large frisbee golf course, a fishing and kayak lake, and a nice store. For the price, it’s a must camp!

Beautiful

The views while walking along Lake Huron are beautiful. The campground is clean. My only “con” is that full hookups are scarce and don’t have the perfect angle and view of the W/E sites. If you want the best sites, forego the “full hookup”, pay less for the best and closest view of Lake Huron.

Family Nudist Resort

Nice family friendly nudist resort. Was there over America's Birthday. Had a lot of activities including a live band and fireworks. Large resort with plenty of space. Has two pools. One inside with a hot tub, one outside with a tiki grill that serves food on the weekend. The outdoor pool is…

Lovely landscaping and happy hosts

We were looking for a campsite particularly in Elkhart as we were visiting family and stumbled upon this one. It is family run and they are all wonderful! We had a nice spot not too close to anyone. There are other areas of the park where the sites are really close together. I was glad we had some…

Nice, quiet campground

This is a smaller campground with some full timers or seasonal campers. We stayed a week and enjoyed our time there. We had lots of rain so we didn’t get outside as much as we wanted. The sites were grassy and mostly level. Trees added shade throughout. The laundry room was older but clean and less…

Great family campground

Bathhouses were clean and free of bugs. Roads are nicely paved. Campgrounds are nice. Good for multiple tents. Fire ring is good. Beach was amazing and so were the trails. The concessions at the park are sparse. Family dollar is right down the road though. Firewood sales at location. Very buggy but…

Lots to do here

This was our first stop from NY to CO. We didn’t have a lot of time but enjoy the time we had. Lots to do in this park and we want to go back and spend more time on our next trip East.

So much to do!

What a beautiful park. So much to do, beach, hike, bike, horse back ride. Campgrounds can be crowded, lots of families, lots of kids. Campground 3 was a little tight for our 38 ft Class A, but certainly doable. Choose your spot wisely. The park staff were very friendly, very helpful. …
