Trailer park with a lake

Unfortunately, Indian Springs wasn’t our greatest camping experience. We were enroute and only there for one night which was plenty. Our site was dirty and the arrangement of electricity, water and sewer was poor. The campground was gated and it took quite a while for staff to let us in, despite having booked and paid in advance. Most sites were occupied by seasonal folks with equipment that looked like it had been there for decades with lots of clutter around most. Lighting could definitely be improved. I wish the owners well.

Pretty big campground

Campground is a large size, sites are decent, lots of fishing areas and a water slide. That’s where the end of the positive things stop. Lots of litter around, dumpsters were always full, staff wasn’t friendly or helpful. RN out of gate cards, office hours not followed. Very loud and rambunctious campers on the weekend. We stayed from Saturday to Thursday. Would definitely look for a different campground to stay at.

Quaint, quiet lakeside retreat

Absolutely love this peaceful, quiet campground. We stay here weeks at a time when visiting Cincinnati. It’s no frills, but the view, the ducks and the serenity are well worth staying here.

Tents matter too

They really need to focus on how to keep tent campers coming back instead of focusing on the seasonal campers. No grass. Tiny spots. Not enough restrooms. Not enough showers. Sad part is, there is only one restroom and it is 9 times out of 10, too disgusting to use. We will continue coming back once a year, but wish it was nice enough to come back even more than that. The fireworks were amazing though!

Good stopover

Chose this place as it was near the Ark and Creation Museum.  It was a no frills place.  Back half of campground has permanent RVs that we’re old and messy.  Front half was not too bad.  They are some that are lake front.  The highway noise was terrible. We had A/C on and sound machine and still had a rough time sleeping.  Not a bad place for a stopover but too noisy for more than a few nights.

Dirty

Dirty restrooms. Dirty lake. You have to pay extra to use the slide. Camp sites have been cut in half. Only 1 bathhouse/restrooms all the eay in the front at the beach. On the 2nf day we did find a porta potty in the back but it was nasty and everyone refused to use it. Manager was rude when i could not fit my car, tent (10x20), table and fire ring on out site. Told me o had to move my tent 1 foot over after it was already set up and loaded with beds. She left and I pulled it down and restaked just in time for her to vome and look disappointed that i had followed her order to pull it down and said i did not have to do that. The site was mostly dirt very little to no grass. When it rained we had nothing but mud. Hay rides on the weekend were late and the man driving it went way to fast down the back hill making you feel you were about to fall out. Employees childrwn throwing water on the people riding the hay ride. Someone went around fogging for mosquitos and allowed the children to run and play in the fog. Karaoke lady was extremely rude to all the children.

Clean spaced out campsites

I was not very impressed with this campsite in regards of things to do. The campsites were nice and spaced out and you can go play in the spring water and boat but that is about it.
