Quiet and Pretty

We had a really great night there! It was really quiet and the lake was beautiful. However in the morning someone was shooting birds or squirrels and bullets literally flew over our heads. But it honestly was worth it. There was a small pond behind our site and we saw a beaver. Adorable. Beware of mosquitos

Beautiful secluded campground

This is a beautiful campground sitting on a nice lake. Our campsite was huge, plenty of room for our 10X17 tent. We also had a 10X10 screen tent for our kitchen and 3X5 bathroom tent and still had plenty of room. Our site was located approximately 10 yards from the water, which made it easy to launch our kayak. Water is easily available from most sites, along with pit toilets which were very clean. Along the lake there were plenty of places to launch a canoe or kayak. Also plenty of small little beach areas for swimming. On the opposite side of the lake is a very nice picnic area, with plenty of tables and benches if you just want to relax and watch the birds and wildlife. We saw deer, grouse and the camp host told us that they had signs of bears in the the area. The camp host were extremely nice and friendly, always around the campground cleaning and working.

Best camping site I've stayed at!

I loved this campsite! We were fortunate to have lake view and lake access.

Kayaks were super easy to put into the lake due to the lake access on our campsite! And we were even able to swim about the lake. Would visit again!

Peaceful lakeside campground

I arrived without reservation on a Thursday in June and there were plenty of camp spots. It was muggy and the mosquitos were out but I was safe as soon as my tent was up. Bathrooms are pit toilets, so remember your hand sanitizer! They have some but I don't depend on others for such things. Each camp site has a fire pit and most have trees between them.
