The Best RV Camping Near Twin Lakes, Maryland

This is a 26-acre, start up Christmas tree farm in Huntingtown, MD, just 40 miles south of Washington DC. You'll find a swimming pool, canoe and kayak rentals, and a zip line for kids. There is firewood, fire pits, and an outdoor shower all for your enjoyment. This beautiful area calls for biking, swimming, paddling, horseback riding, fishing and much more! There are 6 sites on the property, with up to 12 guests per site.

Equestrian Camping

Campsites are primitive and a bathhouse is located in the center of the equestrian/special events camping loop. Equestrian Camping is roughly $30.00 per night per campsite. Make a reservation by calling 1-888-432-2267 (M-F 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) or online during the camping season (April through October).​ A horse is required to stay in this campground.​
Youth Group Camping

Youth group passes are honored. Youth group camping reservations can only be made by calling the Maryland Park Service Reservation Service at 1-888-432-2267 Make future reservations by calling 1-888-432-2267 or online. The Maryland Park Service reserves the right to restrict the maximum and minimum number of vehicles and individuals admitted under one youth group pass per visit.

Family Camping

Family camping is available from April to October. Walk-ins are not permitted in office; same day reservations are made by calling 1-888-432-2267 (M-F 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) or online (24/7). ​

Cosca Regional Park has a number of camping sites that can be rented for private use.  Reservations are required for groups of 6 or more, year-round.  Same-day rentals are allowed for parties with fewer than 6 people.

Pine Tree Associates was founded in 1934 and is one of the oldest operating family nudist clubs in the country. Pine Tree is a co-op club, owned and managed by and for the members.

The club is nestled in a tranquil ninety-six acre setting just minutes from downtown Annapolis, Maryland, and a short drive to Baltimore or Washington, D.C.  Although suburban sprawl is everywhere, Pine Tree remains in a relatively rural setting and is adjacent to the Bacon Ridge Natural Area, a passive recreation park of 1,000 acres in Anne Arundel County, Maryland.

Unlike many American Association for Nude Recreation (AANR) clubs, Pine Tree is open 365 days a year. In addition to a large outdoor pool, there is an indoor pool that’s open roughly from Labor Day through Memorial Day. The indoor pool is located in Keyes Hall, named for the founding family. Keyes Hall is also the location of sauna, hot tub and the exercise and game room.

Accommodations at Pine Tree include rental cabins, rental trailers, RV sites, and tent campsites. (Please call to make a reservation before visiting Pine Tree for the first time.)  The Pine Tree campground is a loop road, with sites on the inside and outside of the loop. The campground bathhouse or “Adam and Eve” is located in the center, making it easily accessible from any campsite.
