Description

Bayshore Campground is located along the Eastern Shore of Rock Hall Maryland, directly on the Chesapeake Bay. This waterfront destination offers a great camping experience, unique to other campgrounds. Our campground sits one story above sea level, offering breath taking sunsets every night and amazing views of the landscape. This elevation provides a nice breeze on hot summer nights. There is not much of a beach, but when the tide is low, you can savage for valuable sea glass, seashells, arrowheads and driftwood along the shoreline. You are welcome to fish off the Rocks on the Bay or in one of our two ponds, stocked with fish for catch and release. Do not be surprised if you catch a glimpse of our nations’ favorite bird, the Bald Eagle. Our tranquil location is the perfect place for relaxation, bonding with family and unwinding from life’s busy schedules. Spring, Summer and Fall are always the best times to visit, however we are open year round for the adventurists that want to camp in the colder months of the year.

Fantastic location with beautiful sunsets

Stayed here 2 nights in November in the newer pull in sites. We had electric and water, there were several dump stations at the campground. They are still waiting for approval from the state for the septic.

Most of the sites are seasonal renters, except for the section we were in. Not much to do at the campground, but we loved the sunsets each night. Amazing colors.

We spent one morning walking the various trails at the Eastern Neck Wildlife Sanctuary, which is only 7 minutes away. Campground also close to the restaurants in Rock Hall for seafood.

Before purchasing Wifi, check your coverage. We have AT&T and had plenty of service.

Great experience

If you enjoy beautiful sunsets, seeing bald eagles every day, having a nice breeze, not too buggy, well kept campground this is the place to go. Sewer is not there yet, but they have portables just in case you need to remove some instead of moving the entire camper. Due to covid, public bathrooms are closed. But all in all, i really love this place, cuz i am a nature girl.

SiteA1? right next to the bay.

Nice place with awesome view

This campground is perfect for a quiet visit to the Eastern shore town of Rock Hall as It sits conveniently between the village of Rock Hall and Eastern Neck sanctuary.  The area reserved for RV campsites overlooks a bluff on the Chesapeake Bay….gorgeous.  Because we went in the middle of the week, we had a lot of space to our self and open areas for our dog to play. Admittedly there isn’t a lot to do in the campground itself, even the bathrooms were closed down for Covid and only self contained RVs could camp. There is a small playground and a dog park, and a small pond for fishing. Sewer hook ups are not yet available but they are coming. Purchasing the WiFi access was a waste of money and our Verizon signal was very weak.  The biggest attraction is the view over the Bay.  So if you are looking for beautiful scenery and a cooling breeze this is a lovely and relaxing place. We met the owner who was very attentive to our needs and also helped us use the dump station as this was the maiden voyage with our new RV. The campground is clean and nicely landscaped.  Be sure to go into the town of rock Hall for a seafood dinner at Waterman’s.

Beach?

Clean on the positive side. A few wants would be a pool for the kids or a beach area. The beach area I witnessed should not be named a beach. A little pricey for what was offered. Need to upgrade a few things.
