This campground is perfect for a quiet visit to the Eastern shore town of Rock Hall as It sits conveniently between the village of Rock Hall and Eastern Neck sanctuary. The area reserved for RV campsites overlooks a bluff on the Chesapeake Bay….gorgeous. Because we went in the middle of the week,…
Very hot for an early spring trip. Not much shade in the sites here. The trail isn’t shaded either. Store & museum still closed, because of covid I guess. Staff very nice. Camp hosts are pretty much nonexistent as compared to other MD State Parks. I think we’re in a swamp. I assume mosquitos…
We loved Martinak State Park! It’s a small park, flat sites, clean updated bathhouse with hot showers. We stayed on the electric loop which was a perfect size for our kids to ride bikes around. Multiple playgrounds, cute trails (flat and not very long) that are good for kids, and lots of…

Trap Pond is beautiful; the sites have a picnic table and a fire ring and are plentiful. The bathhouses are nice and they have a handicap accessible shower and bathroom stall- the only complaint I have about the bathhouse is that there was no fan to draw out the shower heat/humidity (we were in C…

Never been camping before- drove in, stayed in Hoffman’s loop. Easy walk to the bathrooms and camp store, 20-ish minute walk to the beach- beach was a huge plus for us. Not too crowded! Bathrooms were also very clean.
Awesome family camp ground the kids loved it. We stayed in A7. fishing boating biking the beach is close by.

We are staying here waiting our new home to be completed, should have been here a week and because of delays in closing we have been here 5 weeks
Off the beat and path but extremely nice state park.
This is a state operated park with camping and primarily draws Eagle watchers and photographers.
Just got back from a weekend trip there. It was a great State Park with fishing, trails, and boat docks. We stayed in the hoffman loop in our 20 ft TT. That loop was pet friendly, shaded, and right next to the playground.
The most sites were off the road and secluded. Ours was a little over grown…
Beautiful location, very clean bathhouse, easy in and out. Great trails, pond, fishing and kayaking. Can't wait to go back!
Been going since a few months old, always stayed in Hoffman in a pop up. Tried greens loop 1 time in tent double site with 12 ppl that's a good loop if u want alot of sun. In recent years I've been staying in cabins they are all gone now. So we will be trying tents again until we get camper and can…
Basic state park, does have some extras like a beach, fishing pier and crabbing piers. Lots of people on the weekend but the weeks are nice. Piers attached to campground are nice but can also get crowded.
The woods are full of nature and diverse. species. We counted over 17 different species of fungi in a 25 foot stretch! I loved staying in the beautiful cabins and enjoying the nature strolls. Would most definitely return.
This was our first trip in our first TT (33ft), we’re complete rookies! We had site 68 which had plenty of space for the TT, truck and car to park. The sites have plenty of separation and the park was very quiet. We talked to several fellow campers and all were very welcoming and helpful. We will…
