This was nice because you could see the water from the site.
It was a short jaunt to toilets/showers/potable water and everything was surprisingly clean.
Nearby was a beach that was small but cute and a cool lighthouse you could go up.
There is a camp store that had all the basics and ice and…

Very nice campground nice size sites all have picnic table and fire ring. Lot of full time RV here but many other for people traveling and tent sites also. Nice lake for fishing. Easy check in. Nice little store. About an hour away from Hershey where we went to the RV show. We will come back if we…
We love going every summer with our family and friends for a lot of Waterpark fun!

I went with a friend for two nights, and we camped and had a blast. (It rained for one of the days and it was pretty thick tree cover - so it wasn't too bad.) Hiked around the lighthouse, climbed on the rocks, tried crabbing (and failed) and went kayaking around the campground in the bay.
This was our first trip out with an rv. I loved all the trees and the close proximity to town.
Cute campground but the site wasn't the best. No extra hookup outlet, uneven grounds & no shade.
We visited the day use area but drove through the campground for future reference. The campground offers a lot of sites (189 sites). 148 sites have electric and water. Some sites are monthly rental only. They also offer seasonal sites. There are 38 tent only sites as well. There are 3 primitive…

We only booked for one night. But we loved this campground so much that we added an extra night. Very close to Gettysburg (25 mins) and hiking at the falls. Sites were level and shaded. Bathrooms were very clean - and had lots of hooks in the shower room.

Large campground but only 15 sites dedicated to“roughin’ it” tent camping. However, those sites are isolated from the others. The tent sites were in very good condition, spaced well, and fairly private. Most sites have plenty of shade and grassy, though a few are dirt only. Many sites within…
We decided to stay a weekend at Susquehanna based on the reviews on the Dyrt and it’s closer proximity to home. We arrived and were greeted by super friendly rangers who gave us the lay of the land. We found the rangers to be very knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife, plants, and trees in…
Okay I really like this spot if you’re looking to camp with any amount of people! Parking is okay but be aware of the amount of traffic bikers fishers and hikers who come here ! Very good for family and couples.

Elderberry Loop is near the top of the mountain.
This is not a pet friendly loop.
Site 112 is level, mostly shaded, backs up to the woods and has electric.
The site is between two cabins. Not a problem except the cabins were empty and the ac was running. Noisy and kind of wasteful.

$20 to rent a kayak for 1 1/2 hour! Had a great time taking my son for a spin around the lake. The snack shop had burgers and shakes that were very reasonably priced!
Overall great sites, not many trees so some are exposed. There is a cool skate park right near the campground which is great if you like to use it, but can get a little loud in the evening. They also had on spot lights once dark. Great hiking, close to Great Falls. Kids also loved the water park!…

If you enjoy beautiful sunsets, seeing bald eagles every day, having a nice breeze, not too buggy, well kept campground this is the place to go. Sewer is not there yet, but they have portables just in case you need to remove some instead of moving the entire camper. Due to covid, public…
