Germantown, Maryland campers have several good options within driving distance. Oak Ridge Campground has plenty of trees that keep sites shaded and cool during Maryland's humid summers. Sites are spread out enough to give you some space from neighbors. About 30 minutes away, Pohick Bay Campground has clean bathrooms and hot showers that work well for longer stays.
