It's all dried up theres barely enough to water to fish. I wouldn't go here. They do have a beautiful patch of sunflowers though.
This place was beautiful. We drove all the way around the lake to find our perfect private spot and we basically had the whole road to ourself. There were all these little inlets into the water and you can sit out on them and it’s really pretty.
It was the middle of summer so it was extremely…
This is our second stay here. Sites are $20 a night. That includes 30 and 50 amp hookups and water at each site. There are 3 small spring fed lakes that are open for fishing. No motorized boats but perfect for kayaks. There is no dump station.

Beautiful park right off Highway 16 in Olsburg, KS. Lots of shade provided by big trees and a lovely picnic shelter - complete with a prep area and double charcoal grill. Several campsites available with water and electricity and a central fire ring. Clean and tidy bathhouse (shower, sink, toilet).…
Very shady, right off the water. A little steep to actually get to the waters edge. Fire rings with grills and picnic table. Lantern hook with water and 30 & 50 amp electric hookups. Back in spot would be a little tight for a bigger travel trailer but not bad.

Quiet camp area with paved back in sites for RV/Campers. Our site had a standard 30A electric hookup, with 20A duplex outlet as well. Nice shade in the early and later part of the day for most sites.
Equestrian camping loop is separate from the main camp area and appeared a bit more…
The campground is a typical KOA or Good Sam campground - clean, grass well trimmed, easy access, with some open spaces. The biggest drawback is an active train track about 30 yards from our site. Bout lost my lunch when the train blew its whistle which felt like it was in my ear!
A beautiful city park with full hookups available in a really pretty town! And free, although they do take donations and I would recommend it so they can continue to provide this great service.
We found it a bit confusing even finding the spots - so enter from S 10th Street and take the last…

It's beautiful and peaceful while going kayak
I visited the lake Wednesday/Thursday before 4th of July (Sunday) while passing through out west. Had difficulty find a place for a 6x10 cargo conversion camper. Most areas are muddy after rain. Overall quiet but expect locals to be in and out during summer months letting in kayaks and fishing.…
Stayed here for a couple nights, its a nice campground but fairly busy with close proximity to Manhattan and Fort Riley as well as the ORV park. Predominantly RV campers and off road rigs. We were able to snag a drive up tent spot and had no neighbors which was nice and relaxing.

Covered pavilion with a view of the lake. We happened on it thru Dyrt on our way out to Yellowstone and it fit our needs exactly. Close to I-70, but you felt away from everything. Highly recommend.
First off, bathrooms and showers are disgusting. Campsites are good size, even though there are a million of them. Great water access for motorized and human powered watercraft alike.
