City park RV and tents

As you enter the park off of 10th street the bathroom and dump station are on the right. 3 spots have electric. 2 were taken when we arrived. Donations accepted ( how could you not) there were a couple of potable water spigots available. Previous reviews were spot on. Great little town. For the tent campers there are 5 spots with 20 amp power plugs also.

Siteone on the right.

Nice place to stay

Very nice place, sites are not well marked. You have to climb the curb to get to the site, and its dirt, with some grass, and lots of nice trees. We had electric at our site and they did have water available in March, dump station is nearby as well. Bathrooms where closed.

Sweet stop

Pretty good place to stop. Only stayed for one night. Cute dog park close by. Close tiny human park. Pool close by, it was closed when we were there. Cute places to eat short drive away. You can tent with or without power. Has water and electric hook ups on a couple spots. On certain spots they have one of each, or none. Has Bathrooms, no showers. It’s free to stop here!! They have donation box which I hope you donate so they can keep this place going.

Friendly

Stayed here the allowed 5 nites & really enjoyed it. Went to the Pony Express station & museum, & was pleasantly surprised by how interesting & informative it was. You have to eat at the Wagon Wheel Cafe! Excellent food. Camping is free, but they have a donation box on the restroom wall. Free dump station also. Water & electric hook ups.

So nice I don't want to share it!

A beautiful city park with full hookups available in a really pretty town! And free, although they do take donations and I would recommend it so they can continue to provide this great service.

We found it a bit confusing even finding the spots - so enter from S 10th Street and take the last right into the park and look for the power pedestals. Sites seem very level, offer 50/30 amp hookups along with water. Also an RV dump! Cool black squirrels everywhere, and the park has a swimming pool, tennis courts, restrooms and many other amenities. You can stay up to 7 nights.

We'll definitely stay here again if we find ourselves in this part of Kansas again!

We keep coming back!

We initially thought oh what a great overnight spot but have found this to be so much more! Location is perfect, quiet city park near police station. Walking/biking trails, playground, frisbee golf, restaurants with in walking distance, it’s a beautiful setting and the squirrels, black squirrels are everywhere. Limited spots with 30/50 amp are available, they are pull off as in drive over the curb and park. I did mention limited as in very few, I can’t express this enough as I think I saw 3 maybe 4 spots with electric hookups. Sites are free, donations accepted- box is located on the building that houses the restrooms and near water station.

Limited space

We stopped here and snagged a 30/50 amp spot with water which was just a small gravel pull off on the street through the park. We noticed several locals had parked in other RV spots to get out and walk their dogs so the available space was pretty limited. But the space was free so there’s that. We felt safe here.

Sweet city park

Sties are scattered around a circular drive through this small city park. There is an area for tents in the center, RVs around the perimeter. There are electric connections in some of the spots. Not very well defined…you drive up over the curb to park for some spots.

Tenting is free. I'm in a van and did not need electric so I assume it's also free to stay. I saw no place to pay anyway.

busy little place in the evening. Very quite at night. Clean. Safe. Restrooms no showers.
