Family-friendly activities: Twin Falls-Jerome KOA provides structured recreation options. "Can't explain it but I just love this campsite. Not the biggest or best KOA I've been too but the mixture of the friendly staff, clean campsites, and cool little gift shop just gets me!" reports Daniel C.

Limited connectivity: Cell service is minimal or non-existent at many sites. "There was no wifi or cell coverage (T-Mobile or AT&T), so plan accordingly!" warns Jessica about Miracle Hot Springs.

Variable site quality: Some campgrounds have uneven terrain requiring leveling equipment. "Not all stalls are RV friendly, my friend had to move due to her trailer would not level," notes Sonja L.

Irrigation systems: Expect sprinkler activity at maintained campgrounds. "Be forewarned that this park is green and beautiful because sprinklers run at night and may hit your camp chairs and bbq. The staff do warn you about this in advance," cautions Jeff & Steff at Hagerman RV Village.

Multiple swimming options: Plan to visit both natural and developed swimming areas. "We hiked Box Canyon and swam, visited the Fossil Bed NM, and drove to Twin Falls for more swimming, shopping, movie and skating," shares Alana R. from Hagerman RV Village.

Animal encounters: Schedule time to see the resident alligator at Miracle Hot Springs. "There is also an alligator on site too. She looks pretty old and is pretty lethargic but is very pretty," describes Hayley K.

Pack for variable weather: Be prepared for significant temperature shifts. "It was hot in the day and warm at night, so you could wander around in shorts. The location in the high desert is enchanting and the night sky is huge," shares Beth M.

Pull-through accessibility: Love's RV Hookup offers spacious sites for larger rigs. "Probably one of the best RV spots we've parked at nice large, wide, full hook ups, reasonably priced," reports Charlene P.

Overnight convenience: Jerome County Fairgrounds provides basic services for short stays. "Clean and quiet. All paved. Water and electrical hook ups. Pull through spots. Such a great place to stop and a killer sunset from the bleachers," recommends Tara B.

Bring leveling equipment: Uneven terrain may require adjustments. "The only thing if you in a trailer the ground is very uneven just bring leveling blocks and you will be good!" advises Tyler M. about Banbury Hot Springs.

Dog-friendly parks: Most campgrounds welcome pets with standard leash rules. "My family of 6 stayed in our 31' travel trailer for 2 nights over the Father's Day weekend... The bathrooms were sparkling and the sites were very well kept," shares Joanna M., who found Hagerman RV Village accommodating for the whole family, including pets.
