GREAT FOR THE PRICE

Stayed three nights in mid-October. Got real cold at night, but having electric made it bearable. Not to far from Twin Falls and all it has to offer. Much less expensive than parks closer to town.

Nice campground

The campground was very nice. The only negative is the ground and grass areas are pitted with holes from gophers.  If tent camping bring a good ground cover to put tent on

Nice campground but poor management

Most of all sites have a Pavillon and the sites on the river has a direct lake access. In my opinion the campground is a little bit open and there is not so much privacy. All in all I would give the campground 4 stars BUT I'm very disappointed from the camp hosts work. He doesn't really care about the people and the campground. From beginning till end on our site was dog shit on the waterstation, all of the tables was very dirty and also trash on the sites. Also the sprinklers work absolutely random. When we woke up on the first day, our stuff was wet. We build a cone by ourself so we can use the site for three days. The camp host shows up the first time an hour before we left and he told us, that we can have a cone from him. Never the less the campground is beautiful rounded by murtaugh lake and the restrooms are mostly clean.

Small campground in the middle of farmland

Nice smaller county campground surrounded by farmland and on a lake. Not very busy for early June. Gravel interior roads and campsites with power and water. No sewer or dump station. Pit toilets, clean. Sister campground across the bay. The only problem was the large number of voles running around and burrowing holes everywhere.

Nice little campground

Nice place. Not very busy when we were there (during week). Only problem is sprinklers come on at night and early morning.

Good spot, but beware sprinklers

I had an okay tent camping experience here.

Price is good at $5.

If you have trouble finding where to pay there’s a little building in the campground where you drop your envelope and take a receipt stub to put on your car.

Bathrooms are just toilets.

Lots of bugs at night! I was here late Aug/early Sept

Sprinklers come on at random hours and it’s hard to know what ground they’ll cover.

4 day relaxing camping trip

We had no idea what to expect at this place. We arrived later in the evening so it was dark but the next morning we woke up to warm sunny weather and found that this campground is awesome. It’s small with not many spots but it was nice. Nice lake access and huge grass area for large groups. The Rv spots are well kept up and plenty of power. No dump site but we didn’t have to drive far to dump on the way out. The camp host was very friendly and checked on us often to see how we where doing.

Call service was awesome and we have both Verizon and AT&T and full bars the whole time. We spent time Kayaking on the lake and riding our Ebikes around the lake. Short drives can take you to some awesome places to see.

Bring bug spray for the evenings. Lol

Overall it was an awesome stay at this place.

Great for the price!!

This is a very well-maintained camp site with electric and water hookups for only $15/night. Lots of grass, shade, and water access. The only drawbacks are no rv dump stations and it is about 30 min from town. We stayed at site #10 which looks like it’s on the water, however there is a wall of very tall marshy grass between the site and the water, so no awesome view of the lake. Overall good experience for the price.

Clean, pristine

Well kept, like a city park. RV spots very nice, tents a second thought. Minimal shade if that is what you want. No wind breaks. Lake is pretty, lots of waterfowl today. Toilets clean, lots of picnic tables, caters to boaters.

Camping self serve today. Electric works, water not on yet.

Great setting, quiet location

We stayed here on our way to the Grand Tetons. This campground is a bit. Off the beaten path, the setting is worth it. Spacious camp sites, beautiful lake side setting.

Scenery, not crowded, and near-ish to Twin Falls for $5

cash or check only Great location! Huge grass areas prevent any crowding and all but a couple RV spots are facing the lake. Fun to watch jet skiers, etc. go by. Slight cow smell a couple times but barely noticeable. Vault toilets are spotless. Generators only allowed for emergencies so not sure what other reviewer was talking about. Grass is green - which is great unless you are in a tent when they water Monday-Thursday then you’ll either enjoy the sprinklers or run for cover. I’m in an RTT so parked off the grass. Can’t believe tent spots are $5/night and RV with hookups is only $15. A couple large trailers parked across the way so seem to fit fine. Tent spaces not delineated but I’m the only one here so no issues with personal boundaries. Will definitely stay here again when I’m in the area.

Huge site

When the air stilled there was a strong pastoral smell (cow? Pig?) but it’s gorgeous nonetheless. Fresh water spigots, nice grass, composting toilets. Camp host didn’t return call and website didnt work but there ample last minute space.

Great View

Great place to camp! We had our tent right by the lake. Although you can hear geese and other birds late night/early morning we were able to sleep. The morning view of the lake was a beautiful sight. The vault toilet area was actually very clean and not stinky. Full toilet paper rolls. Although we did not use the picnic tables or grill they were available by the lake.

Only if there's no other options and its dark

good place for van or camper camping but I would not recommend bringing anything else. generators can be loud as are the roads but the surrounding scenery is nice!

Ehh...

It's a nice place if you want to fish but over all not much to see at the campground itself. It is a short distance to all the waterfalls in twin and caldren Lynn.
