We like the more remote and peaceful campgrounds. We took a chance and got off the i-90 at cataldo and drove 8 miles into the woods. The road started out paved then went to a nice gravel road in the last 2 miles were pretty bumpy. Then we arrived at lost moose campground. Peaceful and in the woods.…

This park has a lot of options. You can swim, boat, SUP, mountain bike, and hike. There are a few campaign areas. We stayed in Gilmore with a combination of tents and RVs there. The sites are nice and pretty well spaced out. The restrooms are well kept also. T-Mobile gets no coverage in the park.…
Very nice well kept campground on the east shore of lake Pend Orielle. We visited in 2021 September. A lot of trees have been cut down and cleared out from a giant wind storm last year. Most spots are still shaded and very close to the lake. The access roads are narrow and trailers over 30 ft can…

NOTE: Campground is NOT a Drive-in. You can Boat in, Park on road, or Hke in only. The sites are flat and quiet. A secret gem for sure.
Easy to find & plenty of short noticed camping sites available.
Farragut is a fantastic 5 star campground. Currently staying here at $40 a night. Went to book two more nights and found out they now charge out of state people double. My September stay will now be in Montana and I will skip Idaho completely. No gas, no food, no nothing.
One of my all time favorite places on earth. Sketchy drive but worth it!
Crowded and way too many year-round permanent trailers with their spots filled with stuff. Not very clean. Play structure and "club house" are run down. Would not recommend.
Tent camped on RV spot. All spots have a leveled sand square for tents. Trees offered shade. No privacy due to layout. Tent spots appear to offer more privacy. However, be warned that the access road for tent sites is steep and bumpy. Pit toilets with no other amenities. Camp host is friendly…
Amazing campground!! Very secure with a check point at the beginning of the campground. Sites are very clean and easy to park. Beaver Bay is awesome for families.
Very small spaces and tight quarters. Not for very big rvs at all. Spaces aren't very level. Does have picnic tables and a fire pit. Whole place is pretty primitive.
Why this says the max rate is over $90... I don't know. The max you can pay in this campground is $23 a night. Yes, you can rent the group picnic area for $75.00 but you can't camp there. I think the OP confused this with a private campground further out on the the peninsula where they do charge…
This RV Park offers some long term sites. WIFI is offered in the Library area only for their guests and is not available through out the park. Pull through sites are long and can fit most RV's. Parking is available at each site at the front or the rear of each site. Laundromat is available…
We love round lake!!! We coMe here all the time. But, we stayed in a different part of the park than we normally do. And it felt like a completely different stay. That is why we are doing another review. This place is the best!
